Vtec series uses sensor for speedo.. price is alright for changing of sensor as it's a lot of hard work to replace it..

Vtec cant open doesnt link with speedo sensor.. you might wanna check your vtec sensor..

hi all...mine speedometer now the button like not able to restart the start trip...

 

the left button is unable to reset it....ls time, it still ok but when raining it take a while b4 it can be able to press, but now no use liao...cant reset no matter how...

 

can any kind soul enlighten me?

hi all.. need some help.. would like to know how much is the market price for super four spec 3 with FBA plate? how much roughly is transfer fee & admin fee?

 

price for vtec 3 FBA plate is ard 8-10k...transfer and admin fee i cant recall already...:cheeky:

Hello All! i've encountered some problems with my rear brake. did a servicing recently and changed brake pad but now i hear screeching sounds when i brake. any opinion on this?

 

imo i think that maybe the brake is in "braking mode" all the way then now botak alr. but now i dunno how to see is the brake gone alr anot. hahas!

Hello All! i've encountered some problems with my rear brake. did a servicing recently and changed brake pad but now i hear screeching sounds when i brake. any opinion on this?

 

imo i think that maybe the brake is in "braking mode" all the way then now botak alr. but now i dunno how to see is the brake gone alr anot. hahas!

 

new brake pads have a tendency to screech in the early stages.

 

the screeching sound will go off after some distance... about 1000km of travelling.

 

dun worry about it.

if lets say got error in the calculations of monthly installment and others, can i go back to the shop ask them to look into it? OTR mean including my new insurance+renewed roadtax??+transfer fee right?

OTR..."On The Road".

 

Hire Purchase : "Pay an "agreed to" downpayment of the purchased sum..and pay the rest monthly with agreed interest till its all paid up.

but what if its really overpriced?? i found out my insurance paid to the insurance company is not the same of what the shop quoted me.. its $200 difference lei.. the insurance co said i'll only get the Cert of Insurance in 2mths time..

Your mototiam is a middle party and do make $$$s. These insurance company do have 'ties' with them to bring in 'customers'. If you deal with an appointed insurance company yourself...its much cheaper. Also, you can have an added rider to your bike for free when you first sign up. If no and later add in..kenna pay tro_throat..depending on age and experience.

I doubt he agreed. The money he make can go for SAUKURA Japenese buffet for 5 ppl and still got change for a few rounds of Tiger Beer!...:sian:u think he's gonna let it off? :cry:

Huh?..why should they borther?..its business and you the one paying them. If both the insurance and the mototiam agreed in such business and you agreed to paid for it..its done and this is not cheating..its agreed busines transaction. Now you learnd.

you already signed a contract, you have agreed to the statements on the contract.. unethical also bobian.. you are on the losing end..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

im thinking of getting a second hand S4. What do i look out for if i wanna get one. Which S4 is better (just to go to work and come back)? I did read the thread that some of you guys posted and its great and helpful but after awhile my head spins abit (maybe due 2 to much info). If there are any bros out there could help me i would be very happy. Thanks in advance...Cheers ;)

from ur objective, any spec of S4 is gd, actually any bike is gd.

depends on ur budget too.

Its ok provided the bike is in great condition internally. Among the Vtec Specs..IMHO, this just about the best vtec I tried. But if you can get slightly cheaper, it be great! I knew for somene who jsut bought one for $5+ K.

If you are into Vtec..go for Spec 1..if into non Vtec..go for PB1 (hard to find a good one) or Ver S..never "R"...IMHO. If your budget allows and you prefer the "chio" look, Vtec III.

 

Plse do not asked me for detail unless you want to come on down one of the weekend over Korpee-Orh.

 

Thinks to look out for:

 

No Coolant leakage.

No rattlering sound inside engine after 5-10 mins warm idling.

When you rev to 13 krpm...make sure sound from end can is constant..no blabbling effects.

Left/right lever tip do not have sign of bike drop..oso tell tale sign from back view mirros.

Squeeze the coolant hoses and feel for biscuit cracking feelings..if there is, get them to replace hose or change coolant system using chemical flush or clear the rust inside.

Avoid getting one with "Sai-Tow" and preferably no alarm system installed.

Get as "Stock" as you can.

Make sure meters are working, no cracks etc..on the external.

If end can is 3rd party product, make sure the price comes with approved cert for it.

Check front and bak wheels for bearing wear and tear..also the steering cone bearing. If they can't advise you, at least asked them to have these under a short warranty.

 

The list goes on...good luck.
