hi guys, hope to join you guys soon after i sold my Super 4. Am in a dilemma to either to get a brand new Zee or a 2nd hand ones.

A few qn to start off.

1 - I intend to down 3k, will bike shop willing to loan ard 5k? for a 2nd hand Zee i scout online from private owner?

2 - Is it right to say that the current interest rate for reloan is around 6-7%? and brand new ones ard 4%?

3 - Any reputable bike shop to recommend for easy re-loans so i can narrow down and go down straight to clarify.?

4 - Must the owner of the bike head down with me to have the quotation of his bike?

Thanks for all input, have fun riding and ride safe.

Thats the ambient sense line.. to equate the atmospheric pressure between the internals of the carb with the outside.

The OEM Mikuni carb is a constant velocity carb which uses changes in air pressures above the slide diagphram to raise the fuel needle against the spring. When the throttle is opened, the airflow through the carb increases and the pressure above the diagphram drops causing the fuel needle to rise accordingly.

A datum point must be used to determine if pressures are increasing or decreasing and that datum uses the atmospheric pressure outside as a comparison.

Don't ever plug that line or else you are going to have a very rough running engine.

Hi dude... i filled the radiator full wif coolant. Now when my bike is cool, i think there is around 10 ml of coolant in the white tank. Is it normal? but think 2 weeks ago the amount in the white tank is around 5ml.

By the way how much is a K&n filter. thought of buying one

hmmm... actually i dunno if there's anything you should be worried about but 5mls shouldnt be a significant amount to overheat your engine. for me, i fill the coolant up to at least half of the reservoir (or white tank, if you like :thumb:) enough to either fill the gaps in the radiator or overflows. so far it's been running well. :cheeky:

greetings to all here!

errm.. actually i need a little enlightenment. has anyone experience "surge" when riding a drz. as in rapid jerking of the bike when cruising? because i've had this problem since last year. they say it's the caburator so i sent it for you know... cleaning and all. but it surged again few months later when i rode up to KL. it stopped for awhile after the trip. now that im enjoying my ride, the prob surfaces again.. :faint: does anyone has any idea what the problem could be??

thanks in advance! cheers!

Woohoo! thanx! :) I understood about a quarter of what you said but as long as everything is cool it's alrite.. was wondering cuz I never noticed it before.. Was slightly worried cuz I only noticed it while washing my bike after getting the magneto coil and rectifier changed so thought maybe it was left unplugged.. Thanx again! peace..

Hi guys, cn help me out. Was warming up my drz just nw morning. While it was warming up I lube my chain for awhile. abt 5mins during the warm up of the bike, i suddenly saw coolant leaking. it looked like frm the coolant hose (silicon hose). It was dripping quite abit & the engine was beginning to heat quite alot. I wiped the coolant off abit then rode off 2 work. When i reached work the coolant was no longer leaking. After work when i rode home also no leakage. So after my long winded explanation, my question is why was the coolant leaking? could it b bcoz of the hose koyak already or was it bcoz i warm up too long which made it too hot. Advance thx for the replies :)

which coolant hose is it dripping from? if from the reservoir, maybe u put too much in the reservoir thus it overflows. best bet is to open up ur coolant tank cap n check if the coolant is still there. if u can't see any coolant from the cap opening, then there is a leak somewhere, if the coolant can still be seen, maybe its an overflow. we can't put too much in the reservoir. also, monitor ur engine temp to see if there is any overheating....some bros might hv some opinions too....
