i have a question regarding jetting.

i did a jd jetting previously (after installation of my scorpion fs)

but now if i were to:

1) install a knn air filter

2) change header or to another fs

do i have to rejet my carb? if yes, does that mean i have to pay for another jd jetting? or a smaller fee for a rejet?

also, wads the diff between main jetting and pilot jetting?

pai sei, ask so many qns

you will just need to adjust the air/fuel ratio when you change the air filter or another FS..

it's up to you whether you wanna upsize your main jet when you change filter or FS..

layman term:

main jets works at >30% of throttle..

pilot jet works from 0-30% of throttle..

hey thanks for your reply bro! hmm.. i still dunno if i should change my super4 to drz...

compared to my cbr 400,its definately lighter, easier to move around and control.dun have to worry about kerbs, you can bling it to fit your personality, maintenace is cheaper...

definately no regrets for me.although i still keep my cbr,i prefer riding my drz.ive been riding sports bikes all the time and its a nice change for me. :)

the most commonly used levers are Zeta ones..

You can get them at Ideal for abt $180 for a set of clutch and brake levers.

Sounds like a good offer, infact I owe you EXTRA for the last trip to UM.

01 X Bubble Tea with pearl + jelly, or 02 X Bubble Tea with pearl. Your choice!

However, the choice of colours like quite limited. I'm stuck between the black & gold. whats your recommendation?

Oh, and the shoei DS seems too under-used, its so delicate to use..

And lets just say this caught my eyes:

LOLOL!

i'll go with Black.. white does not go well with Gold, IMO..

it's still your preference to ultimately how you want your bike to look like..

for me is Black and Red, spicing it up with carbon fibre..

alamak, it's the same type of helmet.. just keep it, selling it away is a waste..

anyways, for all SBF DRZers..

short ride out/meet up this friday evening..

those interested do PM me for details..

hi all,

a quick question...

i just had my PAIR removed yesterday. when i reach hm, i realised that the mech just clip an old spark plug to block up the piping.

is this normal or shd i replace it with some proper plug?

BTW what is inside it? smell like some kind of oil.

Thanks bro overcrash. John referred me to your number which is the same as that in the thread. Are you the one who's able to help me get the guards?

it's ok to leave the plug there.. as the plug is there to block any oils from coming out..

you can take the plug out, but you will need to find something to block the pipe..

another alternative is to weld the metal pipe shut or you can fabricate your own block off plate..

hi guys, I just came back from JB Ah Guah Lane...first time being there on my zees...

I had planed to get my zee washed at Ka Kit Bukit the famouse bike washing shop there for SGD15 but 15RM can get my bike wash&wax at JB AGL is quite attractive. So decided to go JB at 9pm. When reached the custom, I saw a FL plate CBR400 friend asking for white card. I actually don't know how to go there and only brought a paper with printed google map direction. So I approach him and ask if he can give me some guidance. So happening he is also going to AGL so I am very happy to follow him all the way to that place and get my DRZ wash&wax. And he is very kind and brought me back to Singapore as well. Now I know how to ride to AGL and the CBR400 friend also showed me some pathhole on the road, quite dangerous even for my zees... I am so lucky that I met this kind CBR friend!

Now my zees looks quite nice and I am thinking about going back to AGL to wash my bike again, they have this promotion: wash 5 times, get one "Snow Wash" for FREE.

However I forgot to ask how much it is to install the box on my zee... next time I will go and ask around.

(BTW, finally I know why that place is called Ah Guah Lane, when I ride the bike around and come to the back side of those bike shops, I saw one Ah Guah walking in the dark...)
