so does anyone whats wrong with my bike. i feel the handling's damn sluggish lately. cant feel much of it when in motion but when clutching in or neutral or even when turning, the bike feels like its jerking or rather not responding smooth/fast. Is it the bearings causing me trouble?(suspect is bearings cos one of the mech at bikeworkz told me my rear bearings wearing out soon few days back when i changed the tube) If so, is it the front or the rear? i have no problems on the straights tho, just when turning or trying to make small movements on my handlebar. any experts pls advise

probably the best to check first it ur suspension n tires pressure

Guys..possible to use a Pro Taper handle bar on the Drz??

Is it gona have any affect on the riding styles?

any bar, even a monkey bar will fit if you have the right clamps..

different handlebars are made of different bends, sweeps, length and material..

It'll affects how you handle a bike..

it's hard for you to know/try the different bends unless you are rich to buy and try all..

there's 3 bends you needa take note: Low, Medium, High.

Stock DRZ handlebar is Med bend.

High bends are more for MX riders that take jumps.

For me, i have long hands, therefore a Low bend suits me better for a neutral riding position..

As for the sweep and length, you gonna adjust yourself to it..

Pro-taper wise, the materials used are very hard and sturdy..

Crashed my Pro-tapers a couple of times, they are still in proper shape..

What you are describing is called bogging. Its not a case of petrol not going in... its a case of too much petrol going in. The JD kit has a thinner main jet needle.. and therefore allows more fuel to flow into the carb.... and this is an American product meant for the American market.. and USA weather is different from us here.. they are in the Northern Hemisphere.. we are Equatorial.

The fuel air ratio is affected by temperature and humidity. Air is denser when its colder and the humidity is low. In Singapore... the air is full of moisture and hotter.. so there is really lesser air by weight so most of our machines are running too rich.
