No need to hope. I'm sure it'll reach before our sept 10 trip. I must go buy those mini carbon turn lights from LAB liao. btw, do check out page 53 of this thread for package tracking updates.

Thanks,

Hi guys, my sliders almost got nicked by some pilferer the other day. They were unable to remove it and left it unfastened at the axles. Please be extra careful when parking your bikes at secluded dark spots. :nono:

just went down to dirtwheel today to enquire about the Dynojet kit. was told that without installation is SGD$80 and the for the mainjet, the biggest size one is 138. it's a bit weird... they told me they don't have stock for the DRZ enduro version one and it will not fit my SM whereas i've seen somewhere else the Dynojet kit comes with mainjet till about 144. not sure.. but i'm pretty sure that they have 140 mainjet for the usage of the 3 x 3 airbox mod.

has anyone checked whether the DRZ SM mainjet is 142.5? same as the DRz S model?

If biggest is 138 means its a S model DJ kit. SM ones come with the bigger ones. Somehow the SM stock jet is already larger than a stock S jet. Could this be due to the PAIR system? If it is, Ryan you have already removed yours. Hmmm...

really?! heh... but the petrol consumption is still pretty much the same... how much bigger? stock S is 142.5 so i'm feeling a bit queer... that the website http://www.drz.info mentioned that keep the stock mainjet at a 25 pilot jet if using aftermarket exhaust and erm... 140 mainjet if using stock muffler.. or modified stock muffler.

got a burning question.... actually what is the main jet and the pilot jet for? how is it determined for jetting purposes.. as in the sizes mentioned all over the websites?

why was it made in such a way that an aftermarket exhaust will require a smaller mainjet than the stock exhaust and a bigger pilot jet? whereas a stock/ modified stock will be bigger mainjet, smaller pilot jet?

Posted

hmm..jetting kinda complicated but once you know which systems controls which level of ur throttle control, is kinda simple to understand.. like lean or rich condition.....better exhaust flow or intake, need to supplement with correct fuel mixture to enfure maximum performance and fuel efficiency..If you did any intake or exhaust mods, You nid to complement it wif ur jetting to make it preforms flawlessly, and if ur jetting not dat swee, it will just robs abit performance la...BTW R.C and Hardy, me change to dat 160 main jet, my bike is damn sweet...I think it can fly if I squeeze more throttle..hehe

Those are the cams to go for hehe

Don't bother with the stage1 which has a milder profile.
