the differnt insurance packages have nothing to do with ur bikes. the different packages cover differnt damages when u have accidents. by which comprehensive insurance is the best and the most expensive among the three insurances as it can help u cover large area of damages.

From what I know..Sportsbikes insurance is more than that of other bikes..So it has everything to do with your bikes..Also for new bikes you'd have to pay for the COE as well I think..

First rule and always the most impt rule, never accuire a bike from any motordiam or shop. They will chop you and feed you to the fishes.. get a bike either from a fren or close person. Bout insurances, the younger you are, the more you are needed to be insuraced.. so if you are getting a sp or sport bike like, its around 700 to 800 plus if you are 20 and below.. after 21 the price differs.. also, if you are getting a bike from a fren, make sure you trust him, check the bike for all faults and minor stuffs, dont run halfway then bike fail. I mean izzit the minimum insurance policy i can get is 1st party for new bike, 2nd party from motordiam and 3rd from private izzit? Or i can just buy anyone regardless of what bike, where i buy it from?

Can buy any insurance policy la I think..But normally shop will ask you get 2nd party if pay by instalments..OR like I said they will ask your PArent's sign a waiver form of some sort..If buy from private buyer who is a close friend can just add name..Should be cheaper..

There are 3 types of bike insurance

1. Loss or damage to the Insured Vehicle caused by: Up to the market value

accident, fire or theft (for Comprehensive cover only) (First Party insurance) (Most expensive)

2.Fire or theft (for Third Party Fire and Theft cover only) (Second Party insurance)

3.Death or injury to third party Unlimited (Third Party insurance) (Cheapest)

 

If U pay by installment, usually they need Second Party but if U pay full cash, U can choose Third Party insurance. Ya, I agreed that motordiam will makan newbies. If possible get from friend or else go with a seasoned biker to a highly recommended shop to buy.

 

Try to search the motordiams for more info.

Orh.... okok... Fully understooded. Thanks guys! One last last question, under sportsbike category, japanese and italian bikes insurance got difference anot? like Tzm, krr Vs Rs125, Mito. Other category like scramblers and naked will be cheaper? scooters even more?

Insurance is calculated by bike's make and model also.
