U 250s are fast man...

had to give it all to keep up.

till i overshot goin into turn 8 on da 1st lap.(was jus behind tortise)

after dat couldnt catch up... hehehe...

anyway who's da guy riding da KTM 650 who lead but crashed midway thru da race??

 

well, it was all good fun.

right...... i have done all i can to get this rolling...responses aint great.... i still going to pursue my own path....going to check with Andrew Morris about the formed up grid for the Johor Clubman race and see if there are bikes on the grid for the 400cc and below race....anyone got his number? if there aint responses....i am going to drop my RVF and get me a 150 to run in the MSS 150 class or maybe the Aprilia Cup who are running MotoMIllia built RS125s....

I am chilling lads....no worries about it. I still will be going for the TD 5 laps which I must agree is challenging. I am not as quick as many out there...but I intend to run in the MSS just to provide myself the experience of being on a platform where you know the competition, the dates, the grid, etc.... big budget I am aware of... i am ok with that. Racing is an expensive sport....found that out for the last 4 years racing my WRX...painful...but the pain goes away with the adrenalin pump eh?

 

For now, the Aprilia Cup requires me to put down 25k ringgit. Bikes etc they will provide...just turn up and ride...all bikes are built the same...abit like A1GP.

 

the BikersCup150 is far more interesting as you bring your own machine and compete against other makes, models and garages.....

 

Spidey...going down this weekend right? Can help me check if these two are still running?

Well...many of the s'poreans are still very skeptical about motorsports...

me keen to go in the clubman, but it can't just be the 2 of us... i've got 2-3 friends on the 250 who are also keen, but still a guessing game as to whether we'd have enough to make the grid.

 

soon i wun even be in TD, as i prepare another stroker for a track nearer to home for next season. i miss real racing already...

Sorry guys... Noob question... Wat is the recommended PG timing to be achieved prior to joining a Clubman Race? I know any timing also can as long u pay n join the race but I want a rough ideal timing as in not slow enuff to be lapped and disturb the front runners.. Any kind soul can tell me dis? I hope this question wun cause me to be flamed.. Really interested party here to join a race to get experience however still lots to improve thus I need to set a target. Thanx...

Phuddy - as for timing, it depends on the bike category you in....150,250/400, 600 etc...

 

Turbo Tortoise should be able to shed some light on that...
