Gundam Zeke: if i am not wrong.. best 2t would be fully syn kind. motul 710.. castrol r2.. i can only think of these 2 now.. these 2 would be the more common kind i guess. price wise motul 710 is $18 at HKL.. r2 i think either $13 or $15 at ah boy.

edit: the best mobil 2t costs something like 20+ right.. damn expensive :giddy:

headache ler....what i used to have was Esso Gold and Mobil 1 (the one with the gold cap)...can u guys explain to me if what i'm using is still of any good or you guys have other brand to advice and please tell me why?

Eh bro, if you ask here, aren't you going to get the same number of different answers? My short answer is to use semi-synth, injector-specific 2T unless you're premixing. Semi-synth will also probably save your muffler packing by burning more completely and not dribbling out the exhaust. I've only had one valve jam ever and it was on Esso 2T Gold. Mobil 1 Racing gold is much better, though it's not injector-specific. Many people use premix 2T in their injector tanks without a piston seizure. I've also done that in the past. Whether that's the best idea is another question. Your bike, your risk - you decide :goodluck:

For sale: Alpinestars T-Venom armoured mesh jacket (Grey colour)

Features: Hard CE-approved armour in shoulders and elbows. Foam back protector. Full mesh-ventilation for excellent air flow cooling. 2 external pockets and 3 internal pockets. Removable rain-resistant inner liner. Easy to wash - just immerse in water with a bit of detergent, rinse, and hang to dry; dries within a day

Size: XS (For your reference, lacrimosae aka Lawrence wears the same size)

Condition: Almost new - worn only a few times; absolutely no damage and no stains

Reason for selling: This is my fiancee's jacket and although she planned to wear this on her daily commute to work in her previous job (casual dress code), her new job requires her to be in formal office wear so the T-venom jacket's no longer appropriate for her. It doesn't make sense for us to keep it if she's not going to use it, so we're selling it. Please don't be confused - this is not my red T-Venom jacket; I'm not selling that.

Price: S$350 (bought brand new from Regina for S$400). If you really like it, we can discuss the price

Modes of payment accepted: Cash or bank transfer

Contact: muser, aka Chris, via PM, email, or SMS my phone at 9740-5630

So this is a reminder for anyone to be responsible for what they post on the forum. We had discussed that b4 n it also end up having to re-call everyone to have a meeting at Simpang Bedok. That was a huge meet-up for sure.

Hope everyone who has attended that meeting remember that. Want to post anything on the forum, think b4 u do so cause others might be in flame after reading it, regardless u are male or female.

I wont let it pass so easy till she gives me a reasonable explanation or an apology on this forum.

2) why got the "stfu"

3) did u offend some1?

4) or u post too much thing telling ppl this and tt that irritate him/her

Hello, I did NOT say any such thing. Please never, ever misquote me.

As for your 34mm carb problem - it's almost definitely a jetting problem. Adjust your air screw, and if that doesn't work, change your jets.

Edwin, you're getting all 3 throttle slide sizes? Cool! :thumb: Wah, super giant jets ah? I might be buying some Kenso jet kits next week along with some other toys. Yah, let's definitely have a jetting session sometime.

main jets from 170-200 MONSTER size

idle jet from 38-60

atomiser tube 262 & 264

float needle valve 350

a monster jet for a monster rider. :giddy:

anyway, i personally feel that... for dannis..

sometimes things we do may be 'right'.. that is sharing all our knowledge to the newer riders out there or to the older ones who might want to know more. But that is if it is done occasionally.

take me for example...nowadays i seldom post because i really dread coming in to read all this things about mods and bla bla bla. maybe i am jus the kind who likes to have outings and talk c*** sing song.. and not really into heavy mods thats gonna burn big holes in my pocket and in the end, its still not that fast kind. for goodness sake, pls tell me something else.. most of our outings we would end up talking about that. thats why maybe outings seems dead in recent months? boring boring boring. just imagine day in day out, i come in and post long entries on music for a lonely soul thingy... even the thread next door might just post wad jasmine posted, to me.

so maybe we could even resort to pm.. say if anyone wanna find out...you could pm dannis, and im sure he would gladly reply u a long list of his mods and share his knowledge.

bottomline is...not everyone would appreciate these things. like for me i like pop music and not classical. maybe your theory and mods just falls into my 'classical music' cateogory.

so, just chill ok.. unless u guys wanna scare away the rest of us who are hanging on to the branch of this thread already.

peace out.

What exhaust and air filter are you using? For stock RS125 with 34mm carb, even 145 can be too big. On my old setup with 34mm carb, 142 was sui sui for me. For legal Arrow, you'll need bigger jets, roughly around 155. If you add an open-pod filter, you'll need even bigger jets. Depends on your needs and setup lah. Jetting is a very personal thing. And even 2 bikes with the exact same setup my require different jet sizes.

BTW, I can't understand why when we talk about jetting, people only tell me their main jet size  It's actually one of the least important jets with regard to throttle response and normal riding. What's your idle jet size? What's your idle emulsion tube size? What's your needle setting? Those are the crucial questions.

Please bear in mind that these are just guidelines. I'm not responsible for any accidents resulting from the use of these guidelines; hope you understand :D

For legal Arrow and stock airbox, 155 main jet shouldn't be too far off, so the problem probably lies with your other jets. Since you trust Ah Seng for everything, ask him to help you tune lor  But if you wanna learn, no need to rush, swallow info bit by bit, eventually you'll digest. Don't worry, we all have to start somewhere.

STUF means " shut the **** up" if anyone doun what it means. I expect some explanation to the use of this sentence. If just post for fun then I can also just **** or screw anyone here n start a civil war. Being a girl doesnt mean u can do anything u want. One has to be responsible for what he/she says.

By the way STFU means........

1) Explanation of sentence = STFU equals to shut the fork up. Now which part of that DON'T you understand?

2) Civil war = A civil war is a war in which parties within the same culture, society or nationality fight for political power or control of an area (ext. wikipedia). You're fighting for political power? Brush up your English before anyhow spewing absolute rubbish.

And oh, if you want to start, you can jolly well go ahead. If you think your one-man army is enough, that is.

3) Being a girl has nothing to do with this, but being straightforward is. On a side note, though, are you a sexist?

4) Obviously I know one has to be responsible for what one says. I AM responsible, I prepare to flame and get flamed. Unlike a certain someone who tells everyone that track bikes all have 7 gears or that overhaul no need run in or rubbish like that. And who's telling me to be responsible for my words?

aight so i guess i just stick to the mobil 1 then...thanks guys....

I'm using MObil 1 Racing for the past few months.. Before that Esso Gold for one month.. Both were good for me.. Now i'm sticking to Mobil 1.. It's kinda expensive at $22.70 but i think it's worth it.. From what i've read, it's a good 2T for bikes that often use high revs..
