2) I don't have a chip on my shoulder but I have lotsa other injuries elsewhere. Nothing to prove though.

Anyways, since you'll be going down for the open house at Mah Motors, I'll bring down the Haynes manual for you! =)

By chip on your shoulder, I mean "having a harboured grievance or sense of inferiority and being quick to take offence." Like most of the kids in this forum.

Yup, they're right about sharing knowledge. But this forum is not about sharing knowledge now, is it? It's just a bunch of kids with insecurity issues. Everyone knows that the knowledge library is in ARC.

And yeah, I love sharing knowledge. And most of all, I love sharing it for free. But I love to share only with those willing to learn.

I'm jealous that I don't have the time for the half million exciting things to do, but some have too much time to actually get bored. I love the time when we could all hang out without having to put up with bad attitudes, bad etiquette, and bad English.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Oh no!!

I just threw away 2 full fairing sets and a single seater!

They're all sitting in the rubbish collection point in my estate. Let me go look for it tomorrow.

I have one last set but its an all-white paintwork. If you're interested in taking a look at it, drop me a PM.

I'll be doing a DIY at my place this Sat, 15 Sept, commencing at 9am.

Just the regular carb wash, rejetting, valve cleaning, gear oil and spark plug change. I won't be washing my bike though. I like it dirty. mmmm mmmm.

Those interested to join in, bring your tools, lubricants (MMMMM, kinky), rags, and whatever else you usually bring for the grease party.

Block 21 Joo Seng Road void deck.

Yah man, will be there.... that is if I pass my exams this friday. But then again, I will inform you in advance jah?

What with the ARC and DIYs. No chip on the shoulder? How about a pat on the back? Muchos gracias.

By the way guys. Was talking to some ambulance crew and paramedics. I was askin if they could tell me the chief injury among motorcyclists and the causes.

Guess what. Most of them agreed that when it is fatal, it is usually head injury.... why? Coz many riders are just too lazy to buckle their helmets on properly. Helmet flies off on impact.

So guys for your own sakes, secure your Arais, AGVs, MHRs or whatever head armour you have on PROPERLY.

Armour up for the ride, plan for an accident to happen.

Dear Vik,

1) The steering will feel rather light. The steering responses are slightly faster compared to using a 110/70.

That's weird. My experience is the same as spiderman's - steering feels slower/heavier with a 120 than a 110.

Yup, How can a wider profile be more nimble than a thinner and more pointy one... :thumb:

True. That is why I prefer a tyre of slimmer profile for a sharper and quicker steering response.

Try 110 is better than 120. For the rear, 140 is best.

Bad news about the fairings. They are no longer at the rubbish dump.

I do have plenty of other spare parts at home that I'd like to clear out. Drop me a PM if you've crashed out on your luck and want some prosthetics.

Time for u to change to a 250 bro. More bang for buck.

- 3.5k can get one older version one which is similar to a rs125 or even cheaper.

- 125 about 140++kg to power of 30hp ( i dun think it has 30hp seriously at the rear wheel) and 250 about 150++kg to power of 55hp (dynoed a stock one) at rear wheel.

- Tyres about the same price. 110 and 150 size.

- have a much more reliable engine ( no plastic balancing gear. Water pump is outside so no afraid of need to down engine when u have a mechanical seal prob, etc.)

Think about it man.

I honestly have no idea...

I did a recent tyre change to Perelli Diablos' recently and this is what i observed on my '06.. 120/60 front and 150/60 rear..

compared to running on a d208 front (110/70) and a gpr100 (150/60)rear...

my steering actually feels looser than on the previous setup..

i can actually flip into corners a little faster than compared to my previous setup.. maybe it's riding style? i'm not sure really...

=/ it doesn't make sense to me either...

I tot u were comparing the same tyres. maybe you can compare the profiles of the 2 tyres. anyway i dun think 120 in front is a good choice for those using 110 in the first place. The rear using a wider tyre is ok as it does not affect the steering much.
