If it is a second hand block, its worthless as I can say. Once a 2 stroke Nikasil block being scratched is almost losing its functional already. You will not know when your piston going to seize up again.....How can he charged you as a brand new block price. If you can confirm that, request them to refund you at least 80% of the block px. If not, tell them you going to make a report to CASE!!! I say those as Listed px is referring to brand new items only.......:dot:

 

I'll take it as a deal done loh i have paid & hes given me the invoice with my bike in riding condition. I don't think its worth the time to go to CASE and make a big din over it..

Anyway the rs125 is a fantastic bike, not complaints up till now, love riding it and will continue to love riding it!

 

 

Do your counting again....may be wkshop didn't put back you 6 gear as they had lost it, misplace it, install wrongly or ......

 

Any brand of fully synthetic 2T oil will do. Don't waste money for big brand. Unless you are going for tracking. I m using Mr L. A. B. castrol 2T for $15 a bottle only.

There is noticeably less grinding sound (the idles sounds smoother) and the throttle's delivery is smoother as well.. gonna try motul after my 2nd bottle of rockoil is emptied

Yes, any fully synth 2T will do. As long as you have 2T, it's fine. 2T brand is not the common cause of seizures, poor jetting is.

 

I've used Unil-Opal's (from Ntrust) Titanium and Racing for the last 4 years with no issues. One of the reasons I've stuck with it for so long is due to solubility of the 2T in petrol. As I premix 2T instead of using the pump, I need 2T that does not separate after mixing. I've conducted separation tests on many 2T brands/types and found out which are the best for premixing.

 

But while the quality of the ride is not so dependent on 2T, the gear oil used does affect gear shifting. My least favourite are Maxima and Rockoil. Both are terribly rough even when new. Smoothest is Silkolene and Motul. I heard Agip is good too, but I've never tried it.

After so long of being inactive.. My speedometer decided to give way.. What are the possibilities? My speedometer side is at a standstill since yesterday.. Dunno what to check for faults.. My mileage didn't move an inch either.. The connection to my front tyre is intact.. Rpm works fine..

hey guys..my mileage is abt 1200km already..and the spanner logo(servicing logo) is lighted in my digital meter..so its tym for me to change my spark plug,engine oil and stuffs rite??tmr morning i mite be going down to give my bike for servicing..but u all think its too early to give or wad?
