I think you have to understand that not only your schedule is taken into consideration but others as well.

 

You're having your own mini outings thru your DIYs are you not? Those are organized in accordance to your convenience.

 

If the organiser picks a date that is agreeable to most, but inconvenient to you, you can't blame him.

 

Personally, I hate organising these things. I rather come, have fun and leave. No work for me.

 

Very childish IMO if you're throwing a tantrum about this my dear Mr L. You're going to be like the Y generation you hate so much. Hahaha.

 

You're always welcome at DIY. I appreciate your contributions because they provide a different perspective ever since Christopher left the scene. No one left to volley ideas around anymore.

 

Yeah, I do have mini gatherings but we lack the culture to test our bikes after a tuning session. Hard to keep at something that I have less and less interest in. I need new bikes to tune. I've been tempted to buy another RS125 just to have something new to work on.

 

And yes, it would be quite childish if I was throwing a tantrum. Thank goodness I'm not, that's all in your head. Just musing, really.

 

But I do have to thank you for pointing something out to me that I forget to appreciate - that someone else is doing the organising, not me.

lawrence if you really are THAT bored u can always tune my bike. AND to make it more of a challenge, u can try to make the open pod filter work. =D=D

 

jokes aside, i was looking thru the nsr and krr forums just now. I dont want to be a freakin prick but i cant help but laugh when i read through some posts. it seems that the solution to every problem is to "service carb" and "send to shop go and reset settings"(???) It makes me thankful that there are people in the aprilia forums who have done their homework and know what they are talking about and are actually a superb source of info if anyone ever needs some. So to anyone who has every helped me i would just like to say a very big thank u =)

Was there during the race and my my.... the Aprilia made the KRRs run for their money.... i used to ride a Krr as well not two ways abt it that they are light and fast but the Aprilia is fantastic in the corners and the acceleration is indescribable... anyways for ur kind update... two RS and two KRRs took part and all very fast and talented riders...nonetheless the results speak for themselves not taking into account Blaque Pearl Menjeng wiped out in turn 6 due to wet weather..... hope to see BRS 150 category racers for the next round..... Kudos to Larry and Menjeng....hope to in the same grid soon my dear buddies.....

Don't worry you're not alone.Most of the time outings are on fri nights which i can't come due to workin morning next day.Need at least 7-8 hours of sleep..

Today, against the advice of a few people, i went to WEDA and got myself some smaller jets to play around with, together with some cheap plugs(for plug chops). Most important piece i got was a b38 idle emulsion tube/pilot jet(wanted a b36 bt they didnt have it in stock) Ive been told not to down size from the stock b40s but i went ahead with my gut feeling. And what do u noe. My bike runs a hell load better! Theres wayy less bogging at d 5-6k rpm mark and d bike feels alot lighter nw when cruising. Gona pop in a b36 when i can get my hands on one. Just goes to prove d point that every bike would require diff settings and jet selections and what might work for one bike might not necessarily work for another.
