An electronic huge vernier calipers!

The auto chain oiler is installed by Lawrance, unless he's free I don't think you'll be able to install it as it takes 2 hours to fix it up.

Hi Guys, its not all the time im that free but im now so i guess i'' ll take sometime off to thank u all for the support...

i"m still sourcing for good deals for u guys locally so that if theres any defects in the products,we are covered..less risk.regarding the deals about Carbs, aftermarket pistons, etc etc,im still trying but its tough to neg with them old time businessman..they in for the money, passion takes a back seat.

Contary to beliefs,i dont own a workshop,im an aftermarket performance parts and accessories shop,i have calls asking for bike canvas covers, signal lites,MIB helmets and even raincoat!??!.. sorry,i dont have, u will have better luck at the garang guni shop in jalan besar... also dont call me and ask "why my bike like this n like that?" sorry dudes, i cant answer that for im not a certified mechanic..u can ask Lawrence :p,he knows what he is talking about, doubt him and he have substantial proof to back him up n not just hear say hear say...

My deals are exclusively to RS125 riders for I have been in love with this bike since it 1st appear on our shore n i have owned 5 incl my current love and not any 2B bikers who juz passed so i can make a killing on noobs...(now which fool could have even thought of that?)

My objective is to promote motorsports,im working ALONGSIDE (not WITH,im not paid at all) SMSA(motorcycle section) to see how we can scout young riders to groom them ..

Anyone can ask me ,I dont mind sharing what i know abt track riding (which is not much) for i would love to 1 day see a Singaporean rider mixing it up with the Malaysian,Indonesian and Thai factory riders.

The Aprilia/Triumph Private Trackday i mention about is put on hold as we still in talks with PG management as the whole day private booking is expensive.

but a mini trackday where we can do a meet up on good friday at PG might be a good starter to exp what track riding is all about.

thanks again for all your support and keep it coming..

P.S. to aspiring dealers(some claim to do it for non profit, thats not business, thats call charity organisation n we r well aware of charity organisation in the news) buying n selling thru the net is simple, seems easy to start a business,no capital outlay,no overhead, everyone pays upfront, order and shazam ,its here in couple days time...setback? there are plenty of "what ifs"?

what if the goods have a defect? who is gonna bear for it? the buyer or the aspiring dealer? non profiit? then it wont be long before the aspiring dealer becomes an expiring dealer...

Thanks for update Vik, I'll be around during the order period just not the collection so I'll settle my sum with you before I'm gone.

Ooo, as much as I want to give you the marginal difference as a reward, I could be a potential long term customer to your potential aspirations as a dealer. I'd recommend you giving me discounts but it'll contradict your rewards claim, so I'm leaving it as that, cheers!

Tim,

Guess you'll have to pay the full amount stated there based on what Mesa says. Sorry mate. :)

Yea well, looks like being a dealer aint easy. Got overhead, need capital blah, blah, blah all that sales pitch and business spiel(equates to BS) that i'm not interested in.

Guess I'll just stick to doing what i'm doing now. Sourcing out the best deals without the pressure of having to make a profit! :)

Funny how businessmen love to surround themselves with YES men. I think that's what leads to their assumption that they're just honest, helpful people.

Oh well, long live APRILIA! I LOVE APRILIA!

You can try http://www.ultimateparts.net.

BUT call them and ask personally if they have it in stock. No point emailing UP, they rarely reply. :)

Surprisingly they're damn helpful on the phone.

Use a normal key for now then. I do have a spare original key that's uncut, but keeping it for myself. :)

Good morning guys, i have a few questions in mind.

1) If i'm just changing the conrod, balancer gear & all the bearings in the crankcase, do i need to do a run in?

2) If i just change piston, do i need to run-in?

3) Does anybody here has the experience of doing the entire overhaul by him/herself?

It was from the ultimate parts website that i shared. :)

Yes, it is an overseas call, so make it short and sweet. If you get a reply thru email, you're lucky. :)

Dont believe the crap that you dont have to run in your bike. I'm seen many guys dont run in, or rush their run in, end up with a piston seizure.

There are afew stupid mechanics who might say dont have to do so, well, I think they're just plain dumb. IF you dont suffer a seizure, you're truly lucky.

Our RS125 is a sensitive woman, she needs to be brought up to speed gently. :)

PS. You dont have to change your balancer gears if it aint broken. :)

is today's DIY cancelled? I went to see doc first so went there late, ard 11:40, but didn't see anyone ard........

Hi Ryan,

I'd like to apologise for letting you make a wasted trip down. We did have a DIY which started at 11.45am and had a turn out of 5 bikers.

Please allow me to explain what happened today. I've just returned from London, and I am still jet-lagged on London time. I was exhausted this morning so I decided to wait at home instead of starting on time at 11am.

As my home faces the carpark entrance, I always am able to hear the distinctive engine sound of Aprilia's pulling into my carpark. My usual practice is to meet the first rider and have him cool down his bike in the void deck while I retrieve my tools from my home.

Today, I heard you pull in and went downstairs. But seeing no one at the void deck nor around my block, I went upstairs to get my tools. When I came down again, I heard you exit the carpark.

After that, the next few bikes started arriving and I thought the first entry and exit was made by one of them who wasn't sure of the location. I was not aware that it was you.

I can pass you my contact, but please only use it for confirmation of DIY's and not for any other purposes.

Thank you and please accept my apologies. I have sent you my contact via PM.

Actually I did my first DIY overhaul in 2005 in my void deck, way before I had my motorcycle workshop.

It took me over 12 gruelling hours and a few manuals but I did manage to get the bike running the next day.

I ran my bike in over 800km after that. Keep up the good advice, BOSS. It makes my life a whole lot easier having fellow riders with the knowledge sharing with one another.

I hope you can turn up for more DIYs so that more riders can learn from you. I don't have to keep explaining the same things over and over... :) I get tired of hearing myself after the hundredth time... :p

An overseas call doesn't cost that much anyway. It's not like you're calling a 1900- number. Just know what you want to ask, don't sidetrack, stick to the questions you prepare beforehand and try not to ask them to check their inventory.

It'll be a lot more easier than waiting for them to reply via email, which, by comparison, is less exciting than watching your nails grow.
