Lawrence, think i might have phrased it wrongly. Was not too sure if she was trying to drive off, or simply just moving forward after hitting something. but she came down after she saw me fuming in front of her car and gesturing to her "WTF?"..

Does it mean i can confirm claim her for original farrings on damaged pieces? I did call the police at the scene. but they said, "oh if no injury is involved that we cant do anything. "

Ok then make a police report as you'll need the police report to file a claim against her.

Depends bro.

On street/ city riding is 35km/Litre.

On race track, full throttle most of the time, is about 25-30km/Litre.

Lap timing is about 1:55-2:00min per lap.

Wow, i didn't know RS125 got such good FC. Btw is your RS125 stock?

Likely to get bike back on 11 or 12 April. Will do a DIY then. Keep u updated. Looking fwd to hearing abt yr overhaul.

Am on leave from 11-16 April but will be practising krav maga the entire week with a few sparring partners. Am also training on my bicycle so those interested in getting more feel for your bike can join me at Coastal Road.

OKOK... I admit, the good FC is the result of tuning the bike for 3 months MYSELF. EVERYDAY.

Happy now?

Haha, so riding a aprilia is it same as class 2a the maintenance? Or higher?

As long as nothing gives way the maintenance cost is cheap. Once you require parts e.g. Pistons, gasket kits the labour and costs are going to kick you in the nuts then twist it 720 degrees and then grind it.

Other than that you're fine, although a quality gear oil change will set you back $10 more.

When the winds resist my impetus and sights become passing shadows. Every other sound is voided, all but the undeniable roar of my engine.

My physical vision recepts naught, but my mind is tranquil.

I see my inner soul.

Yo MaxS.... as for all the advice rendered... i do agree with them.... take your ride to IDAC and get it checked out and do an insurance claim against HER insurance. remeber HER insurance. secondly explain clearly with the profanities to the IDAC office and get a shop to quote for repairs. tell them that you would require all brand new parts and not a PAINTJOB!!! certain shops will try their best to do a good job provided your express your sincere claim.... not falseness ones. All the best bro..... i am talkign from experience when my bike got hit whilst i was at a filter lane.....

drop me a message @ 9184-5113.

Help you post already.

Here are the details guys.

Selling a brand new Arrow Titanium Full System exhaust for Aprilia RS125. Only for Aprilia RS125.

Posting on behalf of my friend as he can't afford to pay for the pipe. He placed a deposit 1 month ago at the bike shop but he's currently facing some financial difficulty. My fren is making a lost over here.

The exhaust is totally brand new with cert. Letting go at SGD$740 + installation from his bike shop. You have to go for the inspection yourself. Its just reasonable.

Call or text him at 91845113 directly. Do no PM me as I'm not the one who's selling.

THANKS!

I was reading up on this earlier since I've got a 2008 Spain's No 1 model, which were all restricted. Apparently the restricted models did not include the powervalve. De-restriction required the purchase of the powervalve, RAVE controller, solenoid and cable to move the powervalve, and CDI drilling/snapping.

Has anyone here done the full de-restriction at 37 Motoring? Any idea of total cost? I remember Sub Zero's comments from a while back that shops tend to overcharge for components, and that it may well be worth it buying the components ourselves.

bro b4 you go to the shops to check if it FP please check your CDI below the rear seat if it the piaggio CDI. secondly check if u have a Rave valve by checking rite above the exhaust port. if u see a cable conected to a catch and has a solenoid controller below your tank, its not the restricted edition. i might be wrong but these are the tell signs of the bike being FP or restricted.

Thanks bro. Will do that this evening. Got a hold of this manual for '06 models, which gives nice little pictures of what to look for. RS125-RACE.pdf

Hi mate,

You're right, it's much better to purchase the components by yourself. I vaguely remember the famous fruit shop charging close to 2K for this. Not sure how t's justified. :)

In any case, the items you mentioned, can all be purchased from http://www.ebay.co.uk for a very very reasonable price. 2ndhand yes, but it lasts quite awhile. :)

Regarding Ah Seng's labour charges, it's quite an easy job for him. He shld charge anywhere from 50 to 100 for this. Depending on how well you know him. Be like me, go in, say what you want to do, and say I'll pay this sum of money only! Hahahaha

Yup! I just bought a full PV derestriction kit (valve, housing, cable, solenoid, CDI) for £100 on eBay, which is about S$205.

Nice. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll do that too! :D

Would like to see how long it takes for Ah Seng to fold. heh heh
