The common ones are Motul 710, Maxima K2, Silkolene. If there is already 2T in yr bike, i think u will need to drain it off before using a new oil as recommended by ah seng.

 

How do i do that?

save up for ur big bike man.. parts are freaking expensive for our bikes... and one thing about modding ur bike is like eatting pringles *once u start u cant stop. in ur case if u gonna get new carb valves solenoid cdi cable n stuff.. probally set u back about 1k ?? with that amount of mod the most brings u about additional 20-30km faster in top speed i guess... not that worth .. definitely more mods will cause more probs if not deal properly and also higher maintaince *like washing of valve unless u DIY.

 

she's an Italian..what do u expect? :p:P ... anyway its more what u want on yer bike... sort of like would u prefer an Arrow pipes or alternatively u can settle for a ABM pipes.. Ohlins or YSS shoxs... u get the idea....but then again theres not much alternative parts we can source for in Asia mainly because our bikes are too frickking ex n besides Malaysia..u rarely find a RS125 in SEA hence parts are rare..u want the SEA manufacturers to do something for our bike,u gotta supply a mould which is frickking ex..KRs RZXs etc etc parts are lower because theres abundants of parts made in Asia...

IMO 1k on mods is quite alright and to gain 20-30km in speed is good value for money.. i just spend $800 on a HM Quickshifter on my Triumph Daytona and it gave me almost close to a second off my lap time..im sure there be mixed emotion among ppl whether its worth the money..

couple of Yammie R125 buddies of mine installed PCV on their bike and it cost them like $700 plus and the power gain (i wont mention here though) is like so minimal,they gain like less then 10km in additional speed

btw i juz found out that the Yamaha YZF-R125 fairings cost the same as our RS125 fairing so i guess the price we pay for a top range bike in its class comes with a top range aftermarket price.. :D

making any machine faster will always have higher maintainance (even the Y125Z kup chais,mod them for race n be prepared to store at least 5 blocks n numerous pistons for the year,race prep a RS125 n the cost will almost be same as the Y125Z but our cost is more towards maintaining her in prime condition then changing blocks n pistons)..thats a fact u cant escape from...a bike designed for the track will always be high on maintainance..

IF u have thoughts into changing a bigger bike,there not much money to spend actually unless u really go into the cosmetic blings blings...all u need is a PCV or Bazzard and a full system and it good enough,no touching of engines needed as the power from a showroom stock superbikes is much much more then we can handle... on the track,even our fastest local riders, i guess uses only 80% of the bike potential...the 100% exploitation of superbikes are riders like Biaggi,Haslam,Crutchlow,Rea the frontrunners of WSBK...

hmmm lets see... Ducati? Streetfighter twin carbon full system will set u back $7k....Ducati Diavel slip-on only will set u back $4.7k

A full titanium LV Corse full system will cost u almost $5000...

speaking of exhaust... u can spend an average $1000 on a slip-on for a superbike but gain almost close to nothing in power gain ..its like paying $1000 for unlimited growl ...:p

so suddenly the $1K seems like damn worthwhile .. :D

shyt. i lost my exhaust documents. How ah. Is it possible to get replacements? Dun tink so right? Btw i got the legal arrow pipe bt i nv went for inspection. Cant seem to find the freaking docs now. arghh.

haha larry ... agree somepart to ur statement but 2b will always be a 2b and its not fair comparing 2b to cls 2. yes she is italian no doubts parts are freakin ex.for my case if i'm given a choice again, i will stick to a jap bike. though jap 2 stroke bikes dun have much aftermarket parts to play with. some uncle once told me, do up ur bike if u're gonna keep it if not stay stock reason dun waste the money cause end of the day the money spent can be used on big bike stuff when u sell it. anyway its also up to the owner if his riding style requires it too. cheers.

 

luckily i'm looking at a 2nd hand r1 probably everything in by then .. hehe.. paiseh for being a cheapo but financial is always that thing holding me back. =)

Stupid auntie hit my bike while reversing and broke my front mud guard. Reversing never check back. Lucky I ride Honda Phantom. If I ride Aprilla she will cry. Aunties should be banned from driving. Accident in front of police post so she guai guai pay for it.

i noe of a friend hu did up his bike n blew his piston 3 times in a month juz cuz he was pushing 4 performance on his bike. now its sitting in e workshop cuz he has yet to pay 4 e repairs...

yea, up and running alr. took 1mth plus for my parts to arrive, coz some parts no stock.

tts why bike sit at david's for so long.

but the ride is damn crappy now, coz the tuning is far from perfect.

Guys, is it me or is it just the rain these few weekdays toward the evening..

 

One rainy incident - I tried to evade a damn taxi who abrupt lane changed to my lane and i ended up banging a van sideways - lucky nothing happenned and all thanks to our BIG THICK RS125 tire specifications i was able to maintain equilibrium and not fall and skid.. on Battlax BT090 by the way.

 

Another incident - Last minute left-turning lorry changed to my lane which made me unravel the power of the airhorn.. Banged sideways and once again saved my our big THICK size of the great RS125 and balanced fine. Got a nasty minor scrape from that and a very distorted brake lever..

yeah nowadays always rain when it's time to knock off from work,irritating. anw i always encounter the starter problem everytime after it rains,the starter motor just keep running when the bike is alrdy started.. i wonder isit okay to ride or i'll have to wait for it to dry? i supposed it's wearing out the starter motor alot ): any advice on this ppl?
