Hi guys, just wondering if you know where to get rizoma grips and full sliders!! I wanna know the prices too! Thanks!

I change to rizoma grips two weeks back at HLC. I guess they only have one last piece (black colour) left. Costed me $130 with rizoma bar ends.

If I really can make it, I will give you a call the day before....:)

Let me know by Friday bro. So I can plan my schedule. :)

Vik and Law, as promised, here is Part I of my dirt bike experience at Tristan Park. I loved almost every minute of it. If you think two-stroke 125cc road bikes are fun, you're going to love two-stroke 200cc dirt bikes. When the power band hits, your rear rips up the dirt and slides all over the show. Makes you feel like a fcking superhero. Until of course you crash :D

We should go together sometime. All the information you need can be found at Tristan Park's website (www.tristangroup.com/).

I admire you guys who've stuck to your two-stroke RS125s for years. I love my bike but honestly I love the idea of a V-twin or V-four MUCH more. The RS125 will always be my first bike, but I will frankly let it go without too much worry when the time comes to upgrade. I'm already loving the predicted look of the upcoming Ducati 1199

Bro, awesome vid. Looks really fun. I've got my own MX helmet and Oakley goggles. I might spring for a new MX jersey, pants and boots before going. :)

How did you go there? Ferry?? Btw, I've got a discount card at that store. Next time let me know so I can pass you my card if you want to buy anything. :)

Yes Ash, my name is Raj. Nope, no idea about the Sungei Kadut workshop. Must be another Raj. :D

Thanks V! I'm like a 10 minute walk from Profile Asia. Let me know when you're heading there for your gear. I'll meet you there and possibly get a pair of pants too (at Sub Zero discount levels of course).

Yes, you'll have to catch the Pengerang ferry at the Changi Ferry Terminal. Costs S$10 per person each way and can take anywhere from 45mins (decently quick boat) to 1hr+ (slow-as boat). Only hassle is that it doesn't have a fixed schedule - it leaves whenever it has 12 passengers. Once you're at Pengerang, a Tristan Park representative will come get you (provided of course you've booked and paid a 50% deposit in advance).

Seriously? Wow I wouldn't consider that a feasible option. An option yes, but not a feasible one in my book. Riding up 1.5hrs plus 1.5 hrs back plus 3-5 hours dirt riding? My a*s was getting sore just from the dirt riding. :D

No worries mate. I think it's only a 10% discount anyway. :) If you need to get your stuff earlier, let me know. :) I was into MX when I was younger so i always bought from there. In the end, I bought an Aprilia. Haha. I used to wear a MX helmet while riding my aprilia too. After I retook my license after being revoked for a year.. Was fun.. I still have it.. Hmm, maybe time to wear it again.. Hehe.

Pls lemme know when the DIY session's gonna be on, frostscythe. I can also help out with photography and videography, leaving Lawrence more time to focus on mentoring overhauls.

Hey guys. I realize my Tristan Park vids are irrelevant to the Aprilia forum, but please do let me indulge :D

Below is my second and final vid of the experience. For those of you who'll do this soon, my tips are:

1. Front brakes are not the life-savers they are on the road. You'll have to get used to the foot brake and expect the rear the lock up and slide at times (or all the time if you like).

2. Stopping distance in the dirt is SIGNIFICANTLY longer than that on the road. You'll see in the video below what happens when you forget this :D

3. Don't try to change your direction too much when you're in a muddy rut unless you want to fall like I did in my first vid (my collarbone/shoulder is still hurting).

4. The guide will be happy to show you around from 9am to about 11.30am, then again from 1.30pm to 3pm. Take it easy on the first session if you want to enjoy the second.

Hey guys.. any advise on spraying my mirror by myself instead of sending to shop which cost around $80? I self-skidded last week and my right mirror and the head right side cover(the black colour thingy) scratched quite badly.. Was thinking if i could DIY ?

I rather race with class than lives.
