overhauled today.. rode back from 37 along PIE, read somewhere before that during run in, keep rpm around 5k... but very difficult...i try to maintain 6.5k in 6th gear, speed around 80km/h, still feel like road hogging.... how could you guys maintain 5k rpm in highway??

 

You keep your revs below 6K RPM, not 5. And also, it's good to go up to 7 or 8 once in awhile. :)

Would love to join to improve my knowledge and for future benefits :cheer: I can offer a 2nd source of photography :) not so much about filming, as I'm still debating between different HD cameras (damn, why do they need to make so many different HD cameras!).

The 1080 is better, it offers more peripheral options. You can add on the Battery BacPac and the LCD BacPac, both of which I will be purchasing. The other lower definition cams do not offer that expansion option.

The proper test is to throttle the revs to 11,500rpm, but not over the 12,500rpm ceiling.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

after recent events, i think im starting to believe less in the running in process. i have a brand new piston fitted into my bike now and i have wacked the **** out of it. its done roughly 50km but im going to take out the block coz i need to change the base gasket. i'll take some photos of the piston. see if theres any leaks.

i doubt the gaskets will leak.... no doubt that the gaskets you installed were thick and caused you to lose compression as we had tested.... but surely your bike has potential to run as hell..... waiting to sort out our fairings and we will be at PG..... ride safe and CHANGE TO PREMIX!!!!

20psi compression alot bro... its not about the leaks ah. just wan it to run normally. did u go down to workshop yest? jol said my bike is ready. they never fail to surprise me every single time sia. my bike always done up before i expect it to be. haha

Oi this time I left some of my two-stroke sound in the background. Turn up your speakers and watch in HD :) If I didn't have music, most viewers would stop watching after the first 10 seconds I think! Gotta keep them wanting more with musicality. Plus music makes it sound like I'm going faster and am more dramatic than I actually am.

 

Try downloading and experimenting with the trial version of Cyberlink's PowerDirector 9. I had no idea of how to edit videos a couple of months ago, but PowerDirector made it all very easy. It's all pretty straightforward but can be very time-consuming if you want to do various video transitions and match the music and video bits manually. I spent pretty much all of my Friday night and Saturday daytime compiling the last one. The thing that was really getting on my nerves was that every time you changed one part of the video (e.g. shorten it, lengthen it, add transition, change transition time etc), the entire video would be out-of-sync with the music and you'd have to change it all again. And if you're impatient and click every button you see while your PC is making the changes you asked for, the program will crash and you'd have to re-do things you did before. :slapforehead:

Just registered to this forum and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the average oil consumption of my RS 125...

I read a bit in a few forums before and some people complained that they need to refill every 200km. I bought my bike a few months back and now after approx 600km I refilled the oil for the first time. Is this normal?

Would be nice if anyone could share their experience :)

Are serious on the mileage?? The best I could get is 300+ but you got it for 600??

Maybe you could try again this time and make sure you reset the mileage and update us.. Can?

That's extremely abnormal. Oil consumption should be at least 1,500km before requiring a replenishment. Going premix does wonders for your bike.
