fire_ufo man, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. You never said exactly what kind of tyres you're looking for so it's been tough to advise you. Even now I'm not sure what kind of tyre you originally agreed to buy from Ah Boy, though judging from the price they sound like a Dunlop GPR70, which is definitely not a budget tyre. It's a race tyre that is one of the best we can get for our bikes, and wears out very fast. Many of us use it.

Can you confirm what model you wanted originally? What brand and model has been fitted to your bike? It should be very easy to read from the tyre itself.

I previously posted in this thread an experience at Ah Boy that was almost exactly the same as yours. Paid for both front and rear Dunlop GPR70s. The mech at his workshop remove my rear wheel already, then tell me front no stock, only got rear, ask me come back another day. I demanded refund, and bought my front tyre elsewhere cuz I can't be bothered to deal with him.

I'm a little shocked that Ah Boy seems to be making this kind of practice something of a habit. Not a good way to do business. And not smart in the age of the Internet.

i think we are facing the same probems...

so sad that Ah boy will do this....

i told then clearly that i want DUNLOP first place.

Currently the new tyre brand is not easily can be seen, as u say so. This mean that is tyre is ready cheap and unbranded tyre. but it is made in korea.

not my bike tyre does not match ( look so funny different brand and shap at the front and rear tyre).

how much does ah boy charge u for the DUNLOP rear tyre?????

i only hope that i don skip even different tyre......

try bridgestone 090. size 110/70 front, 150/60 rear. its good for daily use and occasional track sessions. will not wear off too fast like gpr70. and will not lose its roundness too fast like gpr70. y? becos its a street tyre cum track. not track cum street.

how much are the both tyre bridgestone 090. size 110/70 front, 150/60 rear.

thanks

so many people are salvaging so much parts.. leaving me the need to act fast

before the sale is gone.. (sound like some advertisment on tv)

haha i'm just kidding...

hope cheng xi will reap in more than the initial 600$ which he'd wanted to sell the

whole bike...

Don't worry. I'll be in a leather jacket and touring pants too. I haven't got a new suit since I sold the old one off last year.

I take it at average pace. Just take it easy.

Looks like it. There aren't many MX125s around so those looking for unique bikes might be interested. When I first saw it I didn't like it, but it's been growing on me over the past few months.

Moto Millia introduces the Aprilia Cup

KUALA LUMPUR - Moto Millia Sdn. Bhd introduces the Aprilia Cup Championship for 250cc – 400cc class racers taking part in the Malaysian Super Series (MSS), HAMIMAH HAMID reports.

The championship will be held with 6 rounds of MSS races beginning Saturday at Sepang as part of the MSS.

Moto Millia chairman, Muhammad Fadhil Ahmad, said the championship is aimed at providing an avenue for riders of 250cc – 400cc motorcycles to race and at the same time improve their riding skills.

”This championship could well be the training ground for racers to compete in the Supersports or Superbike category in MSS”.

”We hope to this championship will help bring out more new talents in the sport,” he said during the launch of the Aprilia Cup Championship and Aprilia Racing Team here yesterday.

Also present was the Moto Millia Managing Director, Razak Al-Malique and SIC General Manager, Ahmad Mustafa.

:giddy: what is new old stock? so is it old or new? haha

New old stock (NOS) usually refers to inventory that has been kept for a long time, but has never actually been used before and is therefore technically brand new. Sometimes the stuff can be outdated, and sometimes it might have deteriorated a little bit from age, but it's still NOS.

Good point... he's likely to be VERY busy at that time on a Sat.

How's the condition of your front wheel anyway? Didn't look too bad at first glance. Once again I think bonkers might be looking for a set of plain black 5 spoke (y2k) wheels to replace his icky yellow 3 spoke ones.

As stated before I might be interested in your block but I need wilson or Ahboon to confirm the condition for me. Apart from that I just need a few fairing screws and maybe some other bits and pieces. I won't have a chance to check the forum before tomorrow so can you sms me if it's still going ahead of if the time changes. I'll PM you my number.

Drinks> Bring LOTS of water. Can buy it from the petrol station just near PG track itself so you don't have to lug it all the way there.

Well, it looks like I can't make it to PG track on Sat morning cuz got to come into office for some last minute assignment, sigh. Maybe next time then. Mark, I'll pass you back your touring pants soon, carefully handwashed but unworn.

Muser,

That's a real pity.

Since I live in the east as well, perhaps we can arrange to meet up on Labour Day for coffee at say Changi Village in the afternoon or evening?
