It is said to last 50,000 km or something like that...basically the entire lifespan of your bike....i'm planning to get it too since now chris says it also boosts performance

Anyway, my gearbox is getting worse...even a change of gear oil doesn't seem to help..usually i have trouble finding neutral...now its finding it on its own! Plus the griding noise is getting more pronounced...i better get it checked out b4 it gets any worse

for those who remembers (esp eyz) my client really jinx man... got my bike last sat, (looking like new with new signal lites and a new coat of 2k paint), rode to meet client to collect dough last nite, park at some private carpark... when everything was done, and i was like about to walk to my bike, this small truck or big pickup, was driving in, tried to squeeze between the lot between my bike and the car in front, reverse, BANG!!!. bike gana crashed and fell on its right AGAIN (less than a week of coming out of workshop), rite in front of me. i was totally shocked!!! the handle bar (balancer i think) broke into 2 pcs, rite side paint all scratch, fairing cracked, signal lite also gone.... wat luck!

 

now its back to the workshop again... can't join u guys to the DIY again! danmit!

guys, urgently need ur help...sorry for asking so many questions lately but it's driving me crazy...last night when i rode my baby(rs250) hard for a while...suddenly the idling become very weak..then DIE OFF..after that, very hard to start back, have to maintain at high rev or the engine die again...at low rev will have a few misfire at the top exhaust only and then die off...is it foul sparkplug??

 

my question is

1) the sparkplug at the front is for the front cylinder? meaning it's link to the top exhaust?

2)at ard 7k rpm when the valve about to open, is the clicking sound very loud? cause mine is..

Hey guys! Need some of your expert advice - My bike (RS 125) broke down at the CTE last night as the battery died out. I had just changed the battery that morning, but it still died...... ANd I just got the bike out of the workshop yesterday. Sigh.

 

Anyway, more importantly, my rectifier was changed by the previous owner, now using the RVF one. COuld it be because its not compatible, that's why its draining the battery?

 

Lastly, where can I get a 2nd hand RS 125 rectifier?

 

(Sigh, it was so nice to ride my baby out that day, then battery died on me....... very sad.....)

btw, anyone know of any bike shop tat has quite alot of 2nd hand rs250 parts...

Got some qns to ask regarding DIY...

 

1) Oiling the cables : How do I oil the cables? Which are the cables i need to oil?

 

2) Chain : My chain got a lots of black sticky stuffs on it. If i leave it on, it will just look ugly and dirty right? As long as i got lube the chain, the black stuffs wont spoil the chain right?
