About Draggin' Jeans:

Lawrence discovered that even though the former Draggin' Jeans dealer has moved to Mah Pte Ltd, Mah isn't carrying the line. As such, Lawrence and I are considering bringing in Draggin' Jeans for sale in Singapore. Whether or not we do depends on the market here.

Would you guys be interested in Draggin' Jeans products if we could not only let you try sizes in Singapore, but charge you prices comparable to the American and Australian stores? Please ask your biker friends as well, and let us know.

I think they would suit Singapore bikers uniquely because:

1) Singapore's too hot for leathers

2) Singaporeans are extremely paiseh about wearing biking gear, and Draggin' Jeans jeans, pants and jackets are "stealth" biking gear in the sense that although they are lined with kevlar and armoured, you can't tell from the outside. No more teasing or being called a showoff, hurhur [/b]

Chris, i would suggest announcing your idea to the whole of SBF. This forum has a lot of bikers who are interested in proper protective gear but are put off by issues such as comfort and being called a "racer". I bet we can get some pretty positive response :thumb:

Guys, what is the service interval for engine/transmission oil changes?

Several different mechanics at different workshops gave different responses.

The answers range from 1mth-3mths if depending on duration, but depending on mileage, it varied from every 1000km to 3000km.

Whats the correct answer?

When do most of you perform this service?

Well...so far i've been sticking to the 1000-1500km rule as recommended by Ah Boon and our dear chris

Right! Time for an oil change very soon.

Also, Ive seen some mechanics only remove one pin from the lower fairing before removing the sump plug to allow the oil to drain out onto the inside of the fairing then onto the oil pan! :help:

Bad practice.

Does any workshop take more care on your bike?

according to the service interval chart, gear oil is changed every 4k km.. but tat's just a guideline... but 1k -1.5k km is just too fast... unless ya got too much money to spare...

anyway here's a chart from my manual..

http://img221.echo.cx/img221/9545/servicechart2jy.jpg

but generally i changed my oil when i feels that my clutching is a bit hard..

i think it's more of like ya trade in ya 96 - 98 Aprilia and ya'll get between 1.5k - 2k discount on the new 125 ya'll be getting...

on top of tat, ya'll get the polini kit and mayb also the aello~

So, any ball park figure on how after how many Kms your bike does before the clutching becomes hard?

4000km from the manual sounds reasonable.

But, depending on the riding styles and Spore's tropical weather and stop go traffic, I guess 2500km mark should be a safe bet?
