Much better compared to a blinking 100 just a fortnight ago.[/b]

Glad to hear it Andre! Mine went down from 97 to 88-95 after jetting down, to the mid-80s at the end of last week, and now back to a max of 79 during the day while moving. Took a month.

Yup, highly recommended, so you know how fast you're really going, plus how fast other bikes think they're going, hurhurhur. Plus might be useful if you need to argue with The Paikia.

Very interesting point :thumb: Eh, in that case Edwin, if we change to less viscous 2T, should we decrease our 2T flow?

Bro, Your speedo working oredi ah? Basket.. :cheeky:

Anyway, the digital speedo that Hanif is talking about is very accurate, much better than our analog one.. and it has many features..

It will be mounted in a bracket at the centre of your display so you can easily see it.. It has wires connecting to the right side of your front wheel(not on your left where the speedo gear) to assist in calculating the speed.. It is possible to have both analog and digital speedo.. Chris/Muser happens to have both running fine..

Cheers [/b]

my personal encounter with a Sigma BC1200, bicycle digital speedo.. http://www.arequip.com/Images/sigma_bc_1200_lg.gif

is that it's not really accurate.. the speed as reflected on the display is not realtime.. there's a lag between the actual speed and the displayed speed.. when ya bike comes to a stop, the display will still be showing 10 - 20km/h.. so if ya getting a digital speedo, make sure it doesn't has tis lag thingy.. no matter how accurate the digital speedo can calculate the speed, but wat's the use if it doesn't reflect the correct actual speed at that point of time..

eyz,

I agree with what you say regarding the digital speedo.. It is true there is a 1-2 sec (max) lag before the digital speedo display your speed.. I guess that is one good reason to haf both speedos.. your digital speedo to give you an accurate speed(after all the lag is abt 1 sec which aint tat long) and your analog speedo to give your realtime yet inaccurate speed..

But to each his own.. Personally i wont be getting the digital speedo yet.. it's more of an accessory than an upgrade to me, rather do up my bike finish 1st..

vik, does it make sense to get something when it's not even accurate?? n how do ya tell the correct speed even by having 2 speedo when both aren't accurate?? it's either ya get a accurate 1 or jus stick wif wat ya haf and try see wat lapse the old 1 has.. i think our speed is quite accurate as compared to others in the class of 2b..

no particular reason, just in case some of us might not how to get there.. i'll be bringing my JB fren from LAB.. if anyone of ya wanna meet up at the restaurant straight.. we'll just meet there~~

Actually, it's quite useful to have the digital speedo to tell you your correct speed when you're cruising, especially if you're worried about meeting The Paikia. For the more heong among us, it's also handy for telling top speed. For the rest of the time, the analogue speedo does the job.

haha we got new names for the man in white... ya ya.. i do agree with getting accurate speed with the digital speedo when cruising...

Hey guys. Quick question. Do you guys know any shops that have a decent range of RS125s?

I heard Mah has quite a number of used RS125s. Is that true?

I dont mind the increase in 2T consumption but getting stopped by the The Paikia's for the clouds of white smoke from the exhaust is not my thing.
