okay thanks alot guys!... when i get the money, i'll buy a few sizes, anyway, alex you have mikuni needles that can spare me? one needle at weda cost me like 14 bucks man...

ben, haf ya gotten ya needle?? i might wanna order some keihin carb parts online.. cos there's isn't anyone selling it..

i don have spare original mikuni needles.... only have kensu ones... those u cannot use cos comes with different kind of main jets and the tip is sort of flat one...

i'm already using size 39.. i think it's a bit overdose... just got myself a size 35 pwk.. wants to play ard with it..

 

might be changin my fork tml..

Guys,

 

need your assistance here.. Got 2 problems that i need your opinion on..

 

1) While riding bike, 2nd gear cannot rev more than 7000rpm.. even if i whack full throttle, the needle climbs very slowly.. when i change up. the other gears have no problems going beyond 7000 to 8000rpm.. Bear in mind, i jus changed my clutch plates and gear oil.. This problem did not exist before i did so.. Unfortunately i cant remember whether my vlave can open..

 

2) White smoke coming out of my exhaust like there's no tomorrow! Ok, there was abt 3/4 cap of 2T poured into my tank to make sure my piston dun jam coz i jus had my block and piston cleaned and polished.. So i went to pump full tank after tat.. I did whack quite abit to clear the smoke but it still persists.. My 2T setting was tuned to be rich as a precaution so why piston dun jam.. But when i went back to get it tuned down, even with the setting set to lean/decrease the 2T flow.. The white smoke still comes out... Any ideas? Apparently turning the screw to change the 2T setting does not have any effect on my bike now as the white smoke still comes out(Previously i had the same white smoke problem, but it was settled by Unil Opal and lean setting).. I dont have any idea wat's wrong except that i was told it could be my 2T pump not working properly.. But i dont suppose so after thinking coz if it wasnt working well. then before also the same problem should be there wat...

did u check yr cable to yr 2t pump got unknowing come out anot? or did u leave it in the rain before it happen?

I'll get the 2T cable thing checked out.. But it was not left out in the rain.. In shop the past week.. What are the implications btw of leaving it out in the rain?

yr 2nd prob might be the cos for the first... if u have too rich 2t then u might not be able to clear the revs at lower gears... cos at higher load(which mean higher gears) the air fuel will be slightly leaner which actually helps u to pull up...

 

leaving in the rain actually wun have any prob if yr gas cap seal is good... if not then water can get into the petrol and engine therefore gives out a lot of white smoke and revs cannot clear too..

Does that mean that every single time at 2nd gear cant rev high due to high 2T intake or it's an off/on thing?

 

I dont think water got into my tank.. Does the 2t in my tank play a big part in the white smoke or shoudl it be cleared out by now?

On Outram road, the right turn into the CTE, the driver of this vehicle attempted to run me off the road. I was on the correct lane and he did not indicate, swerved right into my lane, beside me, leaving barely enough room between me & the barriers.

 

I immediately accelerated but upon realising that I was trying to get away from him, he accelerated even harder. I braked hard to let him pass me.

 

He then went after this Bung-Ga-Lah on his KIPS but couldnt catch him.

 

I followed him from Outram all the way till AMK wanting to see this guys face for future vendatta & to show him the international "peace" sign but he kept dodging in and out of traffic hoping that I wouldnt follow him.

 

The moment I try to pull up to the drivers side he will narrow the gap between him and the car on the right lane that its impossible even for Kate Moss to get inbetween.

 

Anyways, if anyone spots this S.O.B. please, give him a piece of an Aprilian's mind.

ok that will last awhile lah... wait till the smoke clear by wacking yr bike.... faster to clear.... but for the rpm part have to see after the 2t have been cleared completely from the engine.... u check if the valve working first anot..
