They've got pretty worn out 120/70 and 150/60 GPR70's fitted currently but I'm gonna replace the tyres with nice new 110/70 & 140/60's soon.

 

Now all I have to do is upgrade the braking setup to a 310/320mm disc and maybe an Aprilia RS125 brake pump and I'm all set with a 2nd bike for PG.

You're doing such a great job organizing the gathering. I'd be there but I have other things to attend that weekend. Sept is a busy month.

ya sure it's coming from the valve??

the last time i'd rattlin sound wif my valve was the bushin in the valve housin came loose..

 

i bought the bush from FJT and the problem was solved.. however not for long... in the end, i got a spare valve housing from fibre..

 

the cause of the rattlin sound was due to the valve shoulder knockin on the valve housing.. the bush is supposed to keep a small allowance between the valve and the housing..

 

btw, is ya valve opening?? if not, might be due to the knocking of the broken valve stem...

LL no choice..

 

I managed to find the cheapest tires @ LAB for only 190$.

He charged me 5$ for labour.

the tires were very new, 2205 and 2305 for front and rear respectively

 

good deal, i wud say.

 

Workmanship wise, i wud say it's quite reliable, cept for my dirty rims.

I'd checked with Ah Koon @ Kallang Industrial Park for a spraywork for our RS 125.

 

I was quoted 400$ for a basic 3 color job, excluding dismantling. Sticker wise, not too fanciful, they will provide.

 

I came to know a sticker guy from spidey, i think he can give good quote for stickers printing.

I ride to Toa Payoh from Tampines every day, and wouldn't wish to be on any other bike. Comfortable, stable, safe, and, when tuned right, has decent fuel consumption. I get 25km/l on the street, and about 17km/l with full throttle all the time on the track. Bikes with stock tuning can do even better than that - just ask Samuel, CMYRS or gals behaving badly.
