i figured i can't really go through 380 pages. so here goes:

what is the newest plate for rs250? what's the price range like? say i wanna go down to the track, is rs250 a good bike to start with? how is fuel consumption like? will parts be hard to get?

so far i saw fw plate newest... price for new one i heard 17k on the road i think plus interest already... 2nd hand new model is about 10k... older version is from 3k to 5k depending on condition and period used... fuel comsumption is around 13km/L... parts r not hard to find... can always find me for an overhaul.... haha... cheaper than bike shops... track wise of cos its a good bike! its a race replica man! and there is not much difference from the challenge version which is used for racing out of the box....

block internals polishing is very ex from wat i heard... very little place do and i cannot find one either maybe bcos its very tedious and long tiring job... u wanna let me do? ... but jetting u do yr self lah... just pm me yr price and how shiny u wan it... less shiny less price of cos...

went down to find the mech today, he actually told me he didnt change my jetting. but then again, alex have helped me increase both my 2T intake and fuel intake. a more secure feeling while running in my engine

Richer jetting and more 2T is definitely safer when running in.

hey guys FY plate [ Y2K ] selling at 4.6 k is it worth it ? with the SPEC of alot of things i only remember some [ WP supension ] Single ring piston ] and alot more gd parts ... from IDEAL ... need some opinions ??? thanks

Hey guys, remember this post? anyway I was down at Ideal just now and this was infact the real deal. It was their race bike that had been sitting there on the side for some time and they're converting it back for road use. I didn't check the exact details on the plate/age of the bike but it does indeed have the WP shock etc. They currently fitting back all the items to comply with the road registration.

Interesting.

Excellent to hear bro! :cheer: Oi, let's go PG together on our Aprilias! I'm actually eyeing the 9am session on Sunday before the 3-hour special; chop chop and come back early to avoid traffic.

can't... like many of the others in here I still have to run in the engine.

='(

then once that's done I'll convert it to premix before I take it to the track. =p

not gonna risk what happened last time.

I see  I think I subconsciously assumed that you'd be done with your run-in by now, but I guess it'll take a while since you don't commute with your Aprilia - or do you now? It's a good thing you've got your KTM to trail with so that it's a less agonising wait for your RS to be ready for the track.

If you just want to take the bike and ride around and want to spend as little as possible, and also not wanting to spend to do up the bike to enjoy the great handling of rs125, then I think you are looking at the wrong choice of bike.

I am not a mechanic, I might be wrong. So, please check with others!
