One of the GPR suits from Chong Aik. I tried one yesterday and it fits pretty good, but i'll be trying the next larger size on saturday before i decide which one.

Those look pretty well made :thumb:, and, most importantly, they are fully ventilated - unlike Xstrom, some Komine, and most a* suits. Sizing is crucial though so I hope you manage to find just the right fit.

Yeah the one i tried fit pretty good, just a little loose around the upper back. I'm gonna try that one larger size just to see the diff. Best of all the pricing is very attractive!

Very reasonable pricing indeed. Overall, in features and price, it's about the equivalent of Gmax suits.

They quoted me 550 after discount. The lady was even willing to throw in an inner liner as part of the deal, but they don't have my size =(

Woah Dax, the bike is looking really good now!

:lovestruck:

I see you polished up the frame and swingarm, put on nice shiny bar end balancers and re-wrapped the rear seat.

:thumb:

Btw: I finally found the cruddy old rusty (original) bar end balancers at the workshop. Doubt you still want them but if you do let me know. They are heavier than those you have currently fitted but need to be wirebrushed or sandblasted and repainted.

It feels hard, looks uncomfortable, and, er, isn't very attractive looking.

This may be true but it's better to have a ugly, hard leather suit protecting your skin than a pair of jeans and a mesh jacket. You can get some leather conditioner and it will soften up nicely. My friend did this with the leather section on his 2nd hand Moto-X pants and they are like new now.

Raf. Anyway, I heard those cheap inner liners aren't worth bothering with. I have a couple of friends who got them and used them a couple of times only before upgrading to the good quality coolmax ones.

Ok. If he doesn't want them you can have them for free.

PM him and ask him to let me know via PM if he doesn't want them.

If so then they're all yours.

Yeah i'll probably shop around on saturday for better ones since chong aik doesn't have anything in my size. What's the price range of the coolmax ones and where's the best place to get them?

About $80 from Motoworld. They have the coolmax and komini ones. Very similar except one is blue and one is black.

$550. Hmmm..

How would you rate the suit? Low-end or Mid-end?

Some Komines go for ard those prices too.

On pricing alone i'd say low-end. I'm not experienced enough to tell how good they are yet.

I know motoworld was selling off 2 piece komines for pretty cheap a few months back, but i don't trust komine products. My first pair of gloves were komines and they only lasted me two months.
