Hi bros,

Anyone riding a Gmax 250 here?? Quite keen on that for my transition down from a 750cc. Any experienced bros here can further advise on the maintenance/servicing stuff and hopefully the market price for the 250 brand new and 2nd hand?

Cheers,

Most fc stats publish on manufacturers website is based on a controlled envoirament. Usally done at a constant of 60km/h without stopping.

Thus u are not likely to achieved such figures. My first gen Gmax 150 stats is 38km/l.

I only achieved that on one of the occation. Due to weather and traffic condition. 95% on highway. It was a super raining months time. And I want to play safe. I was travelling at 70km max and at 6000rpm. For that I got 38.

In real life, due to the way I ride, I get 32km/l.

We all know SG traffic is heavy during rush hours, also the attitude of some drivers will endanger us if we were to ride no more than 70km/h.

Thus almost not practical and safe to just ride at 60~70km/h thru out

Most of the time, just minus 15~20% from manufacturer stats.

Anyway anything that is not below 28km/l is good enough for most riders.

Yes, thats true, considering libra and x-hot are both EFI models, it should be more fuel efficient... i would be glad to hit at least 40km/l...
