Hi all..

I've been experiencing some knocking sounds suspected coming from the front wheel area while moving off. I cant feel it when riding at normal speed but when i slow down, can hear and feel the knocking sound again. What could be the problem?? Did any of u exrerience the same things with your Wings??

check if your front fork is leaking or is it super soft.

Last time my 600 had similar one..

I change the spring along with the seal.. HO SEH LIAO

I didn't notice any leaking, is it check for oil leak at the dust cover area?

 

One of my dust covers is rusty and torn though. If replace seal, what is the cost like? Is it must also change the fork oil at the same time?

fork seal and dust cover comes in a set. since need to open up to change fork seal, might as well change the fork oil also.

regarding cost, u can contact ah choong @ 90220203.

we've also done the front fork mod. tested & proven by many. u can check with him regarding the front fork mod with the fork seal. doing together is a lot cheaper.

I just passed my 2A and looking for a second hand sw400, hoping to get some advice from you experienced guys

 

1) What's the diff between euro and jap model

2) What is the market price for 2nd hand one?

3) Would it be advisable to buy new one? I recce a bit and found that new one is abt 15K

feedback from mechs is that the thick green slimy coolant the comes with our SW is of very good quality, can last easily 3 years. don't think its avail in local market so i used the ribena looking juice from maxima, the pre-mixed cool-aide when i changed mine at 3+ years.

 

2 years++... should change liao bah.
