Sorry bro cant joint u all on 19/9/09 sat n 20/9/09 sun betong trip (skip) ,but,but.........were rejoint on 21/9/09 monday afternoom at cameroon n sms me confirm or meet this coming friday 18/9/09 i free, (Being fired by my bro n sis to attend my bro son wedding)hope u all enjoy first then late i joint , sw9000 or atlantic confirm with hotel u are staying ,thanks.

went ah chong place for pre-tour maintenance last evening... ready to go

felt something weird about the new formula 7100. my bike felt very much smoother/quieter after engine & drive oil change (using same 10W40 eo). the full synthetic 7100 is supposed to last >5k easily but it was only near 4k last evening, the drained out oil didn't look dirty anyway. it will be very unfortunate if motul were to tweak the formula and resulted in a "shorter breakdown" product

btw, guys, just quick question, for touring, do you guys suit up? armored jackets, pants, riding boots and full face?

I'm wondering, swing, with so much wind protection already, wear protection gears, wun it be hot?

If near JB or even Malacca at slow speed:

Normal jacket

Open face helmet

Jeans

Shoes

Normal gloves

 

For longer distance:

Armour jacket

Riding pants

Fullface helmet

SAF boots

Knuckled gloves

short trips to nearby places like bukit indah for a&w, or as far as kulai for bbq pork ribs... i just wear the Sg usual; wind breaker, open face helmet, etc. if tour further, full face, mesh jacket, jeans, waterproof treking boots, gloves n sunglass
