I had install a pair on my JDM SW.

Date fix I can't remember (but its surely more than 1, 1/2 year till date) and its still gg strong.

IMO, its quite hard as compare to SW original 1 (original 1 will soften quite fast) and make it more stable when it comes to corning.

Initially b4 I got this hagon suspension for my JDM SW, I had been looking around for other brands and what I can say is that not many brands make that long suspension that SW is using. So wanted to get Bitubo or Ohlins but Ohlins, I don't think they have the length for SW so only left with Bitubo. Then again, the price for a pair of Bitubo suspension is way out of my budget... so went on searching again till one of my friend ask me to try Hagon suspenion...

Initially I am worry that with my weight and I also have a pillon almost everyday, I am wondering that will that Hagon suspension even last me for a year.... and the result I got is, for my past ride (1plus year) with Hagon suspension, carrying me and my pillon and stuff inside my box and under seat, the suspension is still going strong :)

IMO, Hagon suspension is quite worth the money to get as compare to those branded 1... maybe those branded 1 the damping is better??? I not so sure...

Not to forget, Bitubo suspension need to recondition after a year or so depending on the usage. But my Hagon suspension till date have not even done any...

I am very happy with the Hagon suspension. And that's why I am still getting it for my Euro SW(even the original 1 still usable).... If anyone think that I am trying to promote this brand or earning anything from it, by all means go ahead :)

Why I write such a long..... is just to share with other SW riders:) as mostly or even all SW riders know that the original suspension will get soft quite fast.

If anyone think that I am bluffing, I can always bring you to meet my brother whom now is now riding my ex JDM (those ppl that know me when I rode a JDM should also know who is my brother:) )

In my point of view, If any SW rider suspension is due for a change or still thinking whether to change it anot, can consider this Hagon brand as its more cheaper compare to bitubo.

If your budget allow, then maybe bitubo will suit you:) (if I am not wrong, its close to 1k or so +-)

Thanks for the review!!

I'm not sure if any other SW riders would share the same - but I do find the stock front suspension of my 4-week-old SW pretty soft already - taking bends (at 80kph @ 2nd Link 312C) not so stable.

the SW's stock suspension is soft from factory, i consider that a design flaw of the otherwise immaculate touring scoot.

some of us has changed to hyperpro fork springs (order from motoworld) and i found it worth every cent, a must have for stability and better handling. the stock spring got on my nerves whenever i round the Gali Batu flyover (KJE link to BKE towards PIE) and rounding up-n-down the many floors of MSCPs at work and at home. i'm just glad there're aftermarket replacements like the hyperpro around.

so how's the hyperpro? can't comment whether its better than others but i'ld confidently say it works, handling improved immediately but gotta get use to the less-cushioned ride when going down uneven roads :p

other ways of hardening or stiffening the front fork?

some add spacers inside to pre-load the springs while some use heavier grade and/or more fork oil. not sure if its as effective but its definitely cheaper.

add this inside the fork http://www.one2fit.com/products/ID011M02_l.jpg ... stiff stiff... whahahahaha :cheeky:

just kidding... dun ever try

Thank you for your input... so it is a known issue rgd the softness of stock front fork. Yes - the softness makes riding very comfortable. May consider doing something about it later after I'm more use to the SW.

Guys,

As I am going to help CCK and infinity order the HAGON rear suspensions for SW400 and if you are interested and wish to order so as to save on the shipping cost, Pls kindly contact me at 92745438.

Price of suspension is $350 less shipping cost and installation fee.

Installation available at fee of $30/-

Order will most prob be placed within 1-2 week and target by early Dec collection.

Pls kindly note that this is a one time thing as i also ordering stuff from the hk shop and hence hope to split the shipping cost with all those who order the suspension.

deposit of $100 will be required and remaining amount to be paid upon colleciton.

How good is the HAGON suspensions, pls kindly contact infinity or CCK as infinity had 1 pair installed on his JDM model and till date , he is very satisfied.

Gentlemen,

there is a twist in event. After speaking to the HK side yesterday nite,

3 things highlighted -

1. He confirmed that there is ready stock for the suspensions.:)

2. There could be a slight increase in price due to price fluncation.(expected btn 10-20 sing.)As of yesterday, He is fighting with the supplier for the price which i had initially agreed with him(which is 350)

* HE WILL CONFIRM THE FINAL PRICE WITH ME TODAY.o_O

3. He highlighted that he would require me to pass him the full amount for all the orders 1st before he ship out as this time round, it's considered a "big" shipment to him and he had to pay his supplier 1st hence asking for our understanding.

I had reached an agreement with him which is ;

1. He will take pictures of the stuff we ordered before he ship it out.

2. Once i verified the stuff online, i will collect the full amount from all less shipping cost and remit the money to him.

3. Once remitted, i will send him the invoice as proof and he immediately ship our stuff and after which send me the "proof" of shipment.

4. After stuff arrived and verified, i will collect the shipping fee and then remit the amount back to him.

I had spoken to CCK and inifinity yesterday and they intend to press with the order.

Hence now, it's up to the rest of you to decid if you want to press with it.

IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN PRICE, I WILL IMMEDIATELY UPDATE ALL BY TOMORROW ELSE PLS TAKE IT THAT IT'S STILL $350 less shipping cost and install fees.

Once decided, pls pm or sms me to let me know your decision.

Thank you.

Hagon GOod stuff

had it on my former Swing6

Hagon is actually same as Wilbers (you pp can google the brand and read about it) The comparison is like Toyota Vs Lexus. Same engine, different branding and marketing) Wilber is premium brand while Hagon is economic brand

Those who know me previous when riding might have sat on my swinger b4 so... U will know the diff... Quality without the BoomZ factor (pocket)
