Hi guys, anyone knows whats the price of a new SYM 200 or 250? Swingers who have owned the SYM, appreciate some feedback on the scooter. Thanks.

0600 - meet

0615/30 - move off

0800 - Ayer keroh 1st RSA (breakfast & petrol)

0900 - move off

1100 - Bentong Shell (petrol)

1330 - CH (via Raub, SG Koyan and exit by Ringlet)

Help..... my ERP unit not working... when i took out the ERP unit from the right compartment, i saw the sparking happen in the wiring, then i disconnected the ERP unit with the wire. I tried to connect the wire back to my SW, but my ERP unit not working liao. I tested the ERP unit with the spare battery, no signal... test the wire connection for ERP unit oso no power.... sigh:faint:

 

I suspect my ERP unit spoil liao.... and wire connection smtg went wrong oso..... :(

 

If need to replace new ERP unit, they noe how to connect our ERP unit back to right compartment mah? Now headache for ERP unit and wire connection.....:sian::sian:

 

Need to take half day leave tomorrow to fix it..... which bikeshop open early? Tink to go Ah Choong there but he only open abt 11am, abt late.....

The bikeshop tat open earliest is unique at 10am..

 

For the iu, u can jus go n ask for exchange if stil got warranty. U haf an option to install on ur own too if u wan too. Otherwise, they can install for u.

 

I wun trust those guys to open the fairing if needed though...

Tink is already more than 5 year liao, no more warranty le... :cry: The problem is the wire now oso no power, i doubt the LTA ppl noe how to solve this problem.... if really spoil liao then no choice, buy the ERP unit and go bikeshop install lor.... I check the earliest bikeshop, futurescootering open at 930am... the problem is from Eunos toward there will tio one ERP gantry.... :sian:

avoid ERP? go in before the charge period lor... e.g. pass before 8.30am at the Upper Boon Keng Rd (near Lor 1 Geylang) gantry, or Kallang Rd (westbound) after kallang river.

Ok, but i will go Sims Ave to check my ERP unit first, got one LTA authorized ERP shop located there. If spoil le will buy the new IU n go future. Upper Boon Keng Rd (near Lor 1 Geylang) gantry ERP closed after 9am, Kallang Rd (westbound) after kallang river closed at 930am. I will probably reach abt 935am. If u still there. Btw, I refer forum here, future open at 930am leh? U go at 9am still yet open leh..

This morning went to the IU authorised shop at Sims Ave, and was told tat they are not doing any repair or supply new IU, asked me go to VICOM... but LTA website got stated they are one of the shop leh... sigh...... No choice, have drop by to VICOM at kaki bukit lor.... TMD, tio f**k by the inspector and question me why I put the IU unit at right compartment... knn :angry: When he test my IU working lor :faint: dunno why yesterday i tested cant work... end up they ask me go to bikeshop n fix it..

 

Finally I get it done at futurescootering :) Heng ah is minor issue, fuse spoil liao and replaced a new one and cost $5...:p

 

Met Chairman there too, oso cos of Chairman i got FOC pump nitrogen gas (correct me) for our tyres. Kenny said cos is Chairman intro, FOC.... LOL... thanks alot!!
