But you need to leave ur bike there, cos the work is not easy...

Got scary news on the way back from Genting too.

A rider crashed his super bike just after the Karak Highway tunnel in full view of Mr Fusionjaz, who was merging to the highway from genting.

The rider's arm got ripped off and flew some distance away from where he laid.

Raymond picked up the arm and placed it nearer to the rider, just before some of the rider's friend came over to help.

Wah. Imagine holding just the arm... faint faint.

kudos to raymond!! :thumb:

Yes, it's the service manual but for the US FSC-600cc. Procedure wise should be the same but may not cover SWT body. No digital as I will go crazy trying to scan a few hundred pages! Will confirm the number of sets to copy towards end of the month with you guys when the book arrives. Pls note I will only send for copying once, else the book becomes 咸菜

In fact the rotor I ordered has arrived. It measure 276mm which I thought can be used on my SW. When I compared to original rotor it was slightly bigger...

Did you managed to get it fixed?

I looked at the rotor I dont think it can be fixed, the caliper clearance is just not enough? Anyone with a 2009 or 2010 FJS 400. I checked online those years the SW uses 276 mm rotor can buy from me..haahha

For the price is really well made. Many super 4 are using the same brand so I dont see problem with it..

will you get phobia holding someone's hand after that... something like post-traumatic stress disorder?

if have, better to seek help :p

i had such experience before and it took me a long time to "get over" a tragic event that happened right in front of my eyes; a few of us stopped to help divert traffic and call ambulance/police. while a dispatch rider was trying to squeeze between a car and a lorry, a piece of wood somehow dropped and hit the bike. my guess is it jammed the bike's front wheel cos i saw the bike flip and the rider being thrown up. bike then got ran over by lorry and one of the riders foot got crushed.

till today, i could still vaguely remember the nauseating view of the crushed foot :puke:

and i still got a bit of phobia when riding pass by lorries at close range, the mind sometimes (luckily not always) automatically reminds me of the incident.

ride safe... for the sake of your loved ones :shades:

regards to the brake fuild. can. I get any of the fuild which states dot4? Or is there any Specific brand that is more recommended?

http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u382/raymondsg/Silverwing/Brakes/ShellBrakeClutchFluid.jpg

Shell Brake and Clutch Fluid - $7

Can get at Shell petrol kiosks but selling at $8.90

Usually it's better to buy in small bottles as brake fluid absorbs moisture after opening. Manual recommends dot4. dot4 is more concentrated than dot3. There are newer dot5 but may not be suitable as some are silicone-based. Not sure if there are motorcycle specific dot4 brake fluid though.
