Standard For FJS400:

5.5k - 100km/h

6k - 110km/h

6.5k - 120km/h

its a stock shock.

anyways, its a bit high cause i use to ride honda fusion before this and it is super duper low.

the change is quite drastic for me to adapt to the silverwing posture. :)

Stock Rear Shock is the lowest height available.

No choice. Must get used to it cos most 400cc are about the same or higher.

Physical length is shorter.

However, not sure it will compress more like the Stock?

If compress only a bit, then might still seat higher then original.

mod to HID? don't think can pass inspection

i've tried HIR (halogen infrared reflective film) bulbs bought from Limbat, very bright at 2300 lumens.

the HIR bulbs are very bright and visible from afar, but if you're looking for high temp WHITE colored headlight, it's not :p

Yesterday while moving off, there were some hard shaking vibration when I increased the throttle. While idling the rpm meter fluctuate between 1k-1.5k and the engine stalled at traffic lights

What is the possible issues and where is the best budget shop to fix it?

Posted

There is no 'best' budget shop to fix it.

It takes knowledge and experience to solve problems and thus difficult to tag to a cost.

Either go to your favorite shop or go ACM.

Based on description, could be:

1. Stalling and idling problem - Vacuum cable loose/leak, spark plug failure, injector or air filter dirty or engine out of syn.

2. Shaking/vibrating when moving off - clutch/clutch bell issue or tire pressure.

Thank you bros for the advise!

Had visited ACM this morning at 8am but only to realize that they open at 11am

The intermittent loss in power and excessive vibration are actually caused by faulty spark plug!

Took Ah Choong only 60sec to figure out, i m utterly impressed!

They had also helped me in checking the horn due to loose cable connector and replaced

my coolant with Engine Ice. The mech had also voluntarily check my tires pressure without

me asking lol. Thank God and Holy Cow he found a 3inches nail stuck in my rear tyre! Got a worm

patch as well. What surprised me was really the bill :thumb:

Some people make a living by burning holes in other's pockets/wallets and raping people mother;

this shop is simply making a honest living which warrant my future support, thanks

to our seniors here for the recommendation
