Get Pirelli Diablo loh. Cheap and reasonably good performance.

Try AC Motor at Ubi.

Noted with thanks and for voltmeter I can use the right air vent to run the cable and tap the the meter wire right?

here's some ideas where you can mount the voltmeter

* Using a Voltmeter

~ see the middle of post

~ the examples there run the wire via the ventilation vanes, except the one that is mounted in the middle above the speedometer

an easier way is to run it like David suggested, via the big hole for handlebar stem

Normally we just pull the wire through the center... under the handle plastic cover.

My DIY hands got a little itchy so i decided to do this. Not exactly the easiest way but i think it looks more integrated.

hehe.

Nice.

But if want to remove the handlebar cover in future, any issue?

I made the wires long enough to move around if i need to carry out maintenance. Alternatively i can unplug the terminals frm the voltmeter.

:)

You can also splice the wires using those clip connector for easy release.

Also any idea how to conceal the wire for rear box light? How should I run the wire? Currently the wire is coming out from my pillion seat running below the grab bar and to under the "rear spoiler" and to the Base plate.

And how to I lay the wire from the front storage pocket to the rear? Intending to install rear view camera.

Appreciate all inputs. Thanks.

Daiso got sell anti cat mat...

Seem some of my fellow rider put on their bike seat initially, but now no more. Maybe human are lazy so...

I am thinking of using mesh seat cover, heard from my friend its deter cats because the cats don't like mesh seat cover, their claws get entangle on it and they hate it.

I wonder whether anyone has use it here but ineffective?

Had it on my super 4 previously. I still see cat fur on it but I don't think the cat will be able to scratch the seat.

You guy has any idea on cat deterrent? Are cat attracted to silver wing comfy seat?

yes, cats love the SW's big-a-flat comfortable seat, they leave fur, poo poo, pee pee and claw marks behind

how to keep them out? i've tried the follow:

* Daiso anti cat spikes mat... didn't really work, quite combersome (takes up much space in underseat storage)

* pour/spray pungent oils like Axe brand universal oil (斧标驱风油)... works when smell is strong, cats come back when oils dry out, need to keep "replenishing". some pp say vinegar works too.

* slippery mat cover over seat... cat's keep coming back, threw mat away after it became dirty

* mothballs... this one works really well; many thanks to James aka jsilverwing who suggested this to me

a packet of mothballs (approx 100g costs $1 from chaplang shop) lasts a few months. simply find a pair of old socks which you can dispense off, pour the mothballs into the two socks, tie/knot up the open end of each sock and you've got yourself 2 good cat repelling "grenades". finally is to tie 1 or both grenade(s) to the riders' backrest or pillion handgrip using a string. whoala, cats hate that smell :thumb:

shortfall? the mothball smell lor, especially if you put it inside the bike cover over prolonged period. and it's bad for the cat's health :p

I heard about mothball, i will use it as a last resort because sometime we need to handle food stuff so mothball is poison to both cats and human. Will try real lemon juice on a mesh seat cover first. According to some, cat dislike citric smell.

My S4 seat got clawed by cat so i know it will be heart pain if they claw my new SW seat... LOL!

ya, it's really painful especially after spending $$ to make the seat swee swee

this modified seat cost me $130 (2010 price) and 2 weeks for Eugene to finally deliver... notice the upsized rider backrest :thumb:

it now has claw marks at rider seat :sian:
