Define wobble..... Isit like the rear will move 1 side or the front steering will shift here and there???

Rear= engine mount or rear wheel nut is not tighten.

Front = steering cone or tyre pressure.....

Fix the voltmeter myself. Found the meter lying around my school with the wire torn apart.

Fixing is easy. Live on any of the fuse thats connected to the battery and neutral to the frame

Its like the front will shift left and right, don't think its steering cone problem as I changed 2 months ago. What tyre pressure do u recommend to pump? I pumping 260 front 300 rear.

It depend on your weight. Varies from 28psi to 30psi..

My weight is about 65kg, I pump front 30psi and rear 33psi.

As my bike is full of things therefore rear i pump abit more.....

Just Opp... Take note that you will need to enter via the REAR lane...

Sometime i tell ppl, sound like cannot see light shop...

But the workmanship and price is the best....

He may own a shop that look like junk, But @ least is better then those SHOWROOM.

Heard from some scoot friend that kallang cycle is not bad.

u never mention they "cheat" or what.. no harm 1 since u saying what you encounter. :) else PM me the shop lor...

anyway, think some part probably very ex.. I know a block engine can cost anything above $400, and piston etc all may cost another 100 or 200, then add up.. rebuilt lei.. lolx

anyway, probably we dun need the rebuilt, then we jus say lor.. or just tell the shop no $$.. :p that's what i do, when they try to sell me the thing i dun think i need.. haha... (then got 1 time, they said, u can ride big bike, sure u got no $$ anot.. lolx.. then i said, economy bad lah.. pay cut.. now bo liu.. next time lah.. :o)

some shop will try to do more extra mile for us to earn $$, but sometime we probably dun need it..

the thing is i not sure whether i need it or not. cos being a total newbie, i depend on the shop's words. i not saying the overcharge or anything...jus that since i jus bot the bike from another shop, i tot it'll b better to do such a big repair back at the shop. at least can bargain a bit saying i jus bot the bike. but stil end up paying 700+

anyway the shop's name already got hint in my last msg...hehehe

Posted (edited)

okok.. i think i got the hint... haha..

well, i know engine block very ex, piston still ok.. crankshaft those thing can be very ex also.. any bike around 7 to 8 years will have some engine issue..

i know some ppl religiously service and overhaul their engine at certain period.. even if it can cost a bomb..

for me lei, if a repair cost more than 300, i will get a second opinion.. :)

Hmmmm. I rebuilt my engine with much less then any other shop quoted. the only thing i never change is only the crank shaft only. The rest NEW. not second hand...

Maybe shop see us newbie like to carrot us????
