thats wierd. my auto scoot rear wheel doesnt move at all without throttle. i guess its because piaggio auto clutch is set at a lower rpm? cos sym scooters' clutch only engage at around 3k rpm then it starts spinning.

all my friend wheel will turn when on mainstand. like sw400, yp250, burgman, runner and tmax. the only bike i don't see it spin is burgma650. maybe because shaft driven?

experts...need some advise.

 

after my carb underwent some repair (i got story in my earlier posts), my FC went downhill. i'm losing abt 20-30km per full tank. is it bcos my carb wasn't tuned properly? n also i encounter soft but rapid backfires everytime i slow down. at 1st tot bcos my timing was too low, which it really was (almost everytime stop bile wil die). then i adjust it higher...the backfire was gone for a while, but now it's there agn.

 

will tuning my carb help? n how long will it take to tune? need to find a suitable time to visit WM.

 

ya... think u need to tune or even svc the carb once more... tuning, depends. if lucky, 5 min job. if unlucky, can take up to few hours....just to get the perfect tuning....

Just changed OWS 10-40w with OWS 3in1 fuel cleaning system at future scootering.

Really can feel the ride much much smoother and responsive.

went looking for WM jus now. remembered the unit no...but didn't remember soundless' directions. end up cant find the shop...gave up (the rain didn't help) n went to mach speed motor wif my friend's recommendation.

 

jus changed EO n oil filter. can say more ex then other shop. dunno how much will cost at WM...but will go there next time.

 

abt my FC, it's now as normal. 310km b4 reserve...n abt 345km till empty. so...dunno whether to service my carb or not.

yup. WM is not cheaper than market rate and i certainly agreed. btw he dun use maxima. he use motorbest. been using this brand for 5 years and till date, still evry satis with the power, smoothness and lasting it give.

 

reason why WM is not cheaper than others.

 

he dun buy in bulk as compared to others hence unable to get stuff at lower rates than others, BUT his prices are difinitely not the most ex around. That's y i always said his is the most reasonable one cos he only advise customers to change stuff only when neccessary and not like some shops, just carrot all the way.....

 

henceforth, it depends on individual how one see and feel. end of day, it's still individual preference.

should hv taken ur contact no also. i tot easy to find. i going today. another prob came up. fuel gauge acting mad. i top up full but meter show 3/4. den ride a bit drop to half. den go....den go down...to confirm i top up full agn, jus to make sure my petrol didn't leak. n sure enuf, full tank showing only 3/4. so my bike need to see doctor agn. damn sian man...everytime sure got something f#@ked up.

bro.. don't worry.. problem sure have. like my bike when i took over, after 1 week sick all the way for 3 months.. water pump explode, metal cap punch through mix coolant mix with engine oil, tyre suddenly finish, short-circuit, meter guage spoil, battery dead, etc etc etc and etc..

 

repair everything till it stable again for additional $2k. ha!

 

depends on your luck bro.

 

overall, i still love X9

 

btw, WM EO is good i would say

desmond...problem sure hv is not something i want out of a bike. esp not if the prob comes every mth. but wat to do...after so many bikes i've learnt that "prob sure have" in all bikes.hehe.it's whether they cost a lot or not.
