Hi all, I have change a new set of mirrors but not the evo kind. So mow I have a spare left mirror. If anyone needs it, pls contact me. Thanks Kenny for ur help but I just dun see the point of spending so much for a mirror with the cost I bought my bike

This morning I went to Future Scootering there to fix already. The mechanic said its one of the screws (near the rear wheel bearing, if I'm not wrong) that was loose. He tightened it already and now things are back to normal, no more squeaking sound and the wheel is not engaged at

humm... which one is you... :cheeky: Anyway, test it a few days, if there is problem, just come back for a check, cheers.

 

By right, the rear wheel are not possible to be turning.

how to tell the x9 belt is gone? my bike struggle to go anymore faster than 80km/h and higher the bike is like losing power and almost hitting the redline...

Have to open up the transmission cover and inspect the belt for hairline crack etc..but seem that the bike have other problems as well.:faint:

Faster go to bikeshop and let them have a look asap :sian:

Lc/Rd/Mito/Rvf/BlackBird/Zxr6/Hayabusa/Rxz/S4/Vfr/Dragster/GS11/X9/Vxr/Gts/Atlantic/ Use Legs power currently!

It might be the roller that is flat or gone.....

Do drop by bike shop to check.....

Juz bought used X9 evo yesterday. Previous owner was an uncle. Currently the bike is laid up. Can collect my bike this thursday after the bikeshop do all the necessary touchup on the bike. Tried to start the bike yesterday, ther was crank but bike wunt start due to no petrol.

 

Any tips to check on wat before i collect & ride it?

mcm kenal je. hehe. don worry...need to know anything, ask the guru soundless. need to go bike checkup, go see doctor botak. correct or not bro soundless? mine that time buy also the seat button not working. nvr know can open the seat from there.

hi all, i m new in here.....

 

suddenly fall in love w X8 or X9 (i dunno which), due to personal reasons, so went hunting today. most constructive compilation i got resulted in DE XING MOTORS in ubi. got 5 units of X(8or9), sorry not sure w tis model(s). maybe some seniors can advise. all 5pcs r 2005 n FX plated. selling same price of $1800 a piece, wout transfers, ins, etc.....

 

-can some seniors in here advise on whether those r 8 or 9s?

-izzt reasonable pricing?

-i have scan thru tis forum. so i guess i gotta spend some money at some recommended shops to do basic safety checks, rather than trust e shop. so can refer a few shops around amk, hougang areas; plus brief address too.

FX plate is reg in late 02 to 03.....

For that price range, i would guess is a 180cc X9 amalfi.

Do check for wear and tear part before commit to 1.

As X9 spare part is on the higher side conpare with jap make.

I would say best is to ask someone who is experience in scooter to follow you.

Some expensive part need to note....

 

Mounting - the rear wheel will tend to shift 1 side when trottle.

Water pump - Leakage @ pump or noisy sound.

Steering cone - Tend to self lock @ centre

Coil+mag - Voltage unstable/Low voltage then 13.8~14.1v

Digi meter - back ground glue start to disintegrate/ no display. Test for brake light and hazard light also.

Mirror(EVO only) - able to twist up.

Can.... but the stupid logo selling for $30+++ for 1 side i last heard of....
