Faiz, i cant notice. you have been riding the evo for 3 years but just registered in SBK. are you that young? guess you havent tried many of the bigger machines like SW 400, Tmax and such??

Bro jy33,e mirrors will change to amalfi mirror and e metal grill change to signal light plus wiring was quoted fro me by taihin for $120 by taihin....if u wanna change head on there...personally i think e pricing is reasonable..as for ur temp...u might wanna check ur temp switch...maybe corroded its beside e radiator...will cost 45 bucks...might wanna check ur water pump bearing as well....its hard to say ovr e forum...call or sms me if u hv any prob@98636823...

 

I already did that. My X9 200cc side mirrors broke on right side. So I replaced with 180/500cc mirrors and switched location of the signal lights to next to headlights. :-)

 

Went to scrap yard to find the lights and mirrors. Self spray the mirrors cos a little dull due to age. Use black 29 paint.

Each mirror $10.

Each indicator light plus reflector and bulb $10

Need a little extension of wiring cos the wire from side mirror not long enough to go all the way down.

 

Went to future scootering to do. labour charge $25.

 

total damage $65.

 

I also have spare left mirror glossy paint and a spare windshield if anyone wants to replace theirs.

My old X9 200cc mirrors can be repaired. But sadly no time to do it now.

Bro...i owned a few bikes before this....fyi,i m 29 only still young...haha....act e thing is only registered cause was riding scrambler before scooters....own 2 wr,aprilla scarabeo and sym joyride....i m more into offroad last time...used to trail everywkend....then as get older...kinda had fun with e bike alrd then switch to scooter...sold off e scarabeo as too much problem lah...even though firsthand....then e joyride not durable enough...had trouble even hitting 90kmph...so sold off for 200...so prob ah e bike....belt keep snapping at me...fed up bought an x9...just wanted to know more abt e bike and share any prob i hv before with e bike...tts all bro...

Regarding...e top box...i prefer e original one cause more stable...i seen other x9 fitted with other boxes...when riding looks abit unstable to me...afraid when riding fast e box will wobble and cause to lose balance...

Yeah it cost a bomb to get a new one from online.. SSS$$$$600+++ hehe But ii think like JY33 said changing to GIVI max 55 may improve the cosmetic looks,same goes to H&B or Traxx but that is heavier it may affect the balance..hehe just sharing..

oic, as what i kn is when we remove the orignal top box then we fix the givi base plate to the panel of our X9 ( base of orignal top box below )

and attach the givi box to it should be firm as the panel is fix structure on the bike

ya a brand new orignal top box cost $600++ even 2nd hand also need $100 - $160 might as well top up the different and get other brand like givi or monokey top box .

I understand abt e wobble effect when using e topbox....but as far as i know and tried ridin at 130km with

e original top box cause not effect at all to me...but not to sure if fitted with other brand will cause prob???
