Bro I'm also not trying to pick a fight with u.

I'm targeting tmax since 2008 when I'm riding a sw. I'm not rich also. I waited and waited till my sw gave way so had to get a new one. From the trend I see there only up.

I can easily get a 1000 cc bike with the price but what u looking for in your ride??

Diff ppl diff style so want it just get it. I saw the price from 15k tmax 08 (limited ed) jump to 21k tmax 12 to now tmax 15 (23k when I got it)

 

So overpriced or not well its depend. As long as u happy with your purchase. All penny is well spent , or riding a better value one but daily keep thinking of your dream bike and owning one.

Unless u kena chopped into getting the same thing at higher price than market rate then it in the mind.

 

Then i must be quite lucky to get the last batch 500cc tmax at 18.5k otr...n now is my longest serving new machine...coming 3 years n just changed 2nd belt last week...haha

Am looking to change my ride to maxi scoot and caught between this 2 bike of course I am bit more to a max thus posting here haha....

 

1) you want power, nimble, most of the time 1 up.... TMAX

2) You want comfort, executive feel with lotsa space .... Burgy650

 

maintainance is a totally diff thing.

My Burgy can clock about 20km/L

Mixture of Auto & Manual gear riding

 

Features of burgy compared with norm scoot.

Power Mirror, Power Windshield (some have already), Gear driven (not belt), grip & seat warmer (stock), Ciggy Butt charger, ..... thereabout

Hi all..have some queries;

 

1) is it normal to get speed btw 60-65km at 4k rpm on level roads ? If want to achieve speed with lesser rpms is to change rollers weight to heavier ones ?

 

2) unable to steering lock when on main stand is it something amiss ?

Mine is 500cc...hot u can feel the fuel pump no sound....even if tank is full....i have to wait til the temp needle drop to below low then try...usually i have to wait 2 to 3 hrs for bike to cool down...quite frustrating...

Fuel pump got sound one meh? Now my only problem is my 3 year old tmax 530 have some sound from the brakes. Sounds like the brakes are touching the discs slightly. This has been occurring even since I got my Tmax brand new.

1) It depends on how 'warm' your bike is. After I travel a long distance on expressway, I can achieve that.

2) Don't turn to the FULLEST extent. Turn the steering around 80-90% while maintaining the turning pressure on your key.

Thanx for sharing ur experiences..abit distress over it..yup now after on highway awhile..4000rpm can achieve 70kph on level roads..yes solved the steering lock issue as wat u mentioned

Fuel pump no sound? When u start u put ur ear near ur fuel cap u will hear...sort of cranking up sound

and also any good place to get accesories and service tmax ?

Yup mine also inside right compartment..feel kind of wasted spaces but if contemplating to mount it on brake reservoir..

 

Btw need some advices..;

 

1) air filter wash & air dry w/o oil coat is it safe ? If replacing, LAB have or get from Hong leong ?

 

2) can mix different brands of coolant coz my coolant reservoir low & unsure previously uses wat brand?

Btw Juz to make sure..reserve 3L of fuel can travel how much..I'm now at 304km & still left 1 bar to reserve soon..riding style moderate 65-85kph on highway seldom past 90.

recently I had a hard time in starting my engine, sometime I press the ignition switch not a cranking sound appear, I need to press 2 or 3 times then it started to crank. mechanic say need to change the switch. who had changed the switch before and how much roughly it cost? mechanic say it is ard $160 I found it too steep for the ignition switch only.

Ignition switch should comes with the whole set right? Then I tink the price should be around there.

The problem is the relay. Wear and tear. Switches wun give problem that much lei. Coz it's juz 'solid'. The wiring relay is the problem. In my own opinion lah.
