hi thinker, I dun think u have the chance to see them changing. they will tell u to leave the bike for few days and they will contact u once it's done.

Hi guys, i've been riding sportbike all along and i just bought a tmax 11 and need to know how to run in the bike, how to take proper care of it, anyone here can share with me your experience of taking care of your bike, etc changing oil bla bla bla... lol thanx

 

how many km change mineral? oil filter?

 

how much rpm to travel? or maybe the speed

 

need to run in for how many km?

 

during the period of running in need to change the transmission oil also?

 

Everyone pls put in your 2 cents worth, thanx for your help everyone..

 

lotsa thing to start learning for scooter, lol...

for oil filter and engine oil is the same as sports bikes.. 5000km (oil) 10000km (oil filter alternate)

 

how much rpm to travel? or maybe the speed

 

5000rpm = 110km/h.. depends on the rollers as well.

 

need to run in for how many km?

 

i didnt run in... modern machines need little or no run in at all.. just ride normally for 2000km den after just rode it harder..

1st EO and oil filter change try around 100km. Mineral EO won't you cost much but you'll understand when you see the amount of dirt in the used EO.

After that, can follow your own practice of 1000km (mineral oil and oil filter), 2000km (Synthetic EO and oil filter). Run-in complete.

But different ppl got diff method.

Follow what you think is best for your Tmax. An extra EO and filter change compared to your 20k bike?

2017

11 - 25 Nov - 15D, Taiwan - Fly and Scoot

2018

7 - 15 Apr - 9D, Phuket and Hatyai Songkran

17 Nov to 2 Dec - 16D, North East Thailand (Issan)

2019

30 Mar to 7 Apr - 9D Korea/Jeju Fly and Ride

8 - 24 Nov - 16D, Mae Hong Son

Actually the run in process is in the user manual.

1st 600 miles travel below 4000rpm

Den go for 1st oil change service

Next 400 miles travel below 6000rpm

After this, u can chong liao :)

for me, I dyno run-in. so just have to change all oil and oil filter after the dyno, den the bike is ready to fly. but I play safe, still maintain below 4k rpm for 1st 600mile.
