just fixed the polini 12rollers variator today.. awesome mod to this bike.. gonna end up with a new exhaust system soon I guess... guys,go check the webby for the new yoshimura trioval street legal exhaust for the max.. very nice and it's also high mounted... :)

i was at motorworld yesterday, all they have is the r77.. selling at 1k+++. if buy from ebay, can get below 1k man..

 

anyway, issit this one?

imho, the r77 still looks better.. and for motoworld to bring in this.. probably another 4-5 mths ba..

Some questions:

 

1. Anyone tried to change the speedo to KMs? either after-market or mod?

 

2. Where do most ppl place their voltmeter?

 

3. Did anyone instal a Voltage Stabiliser?

 

4. What's the equivalent Iridium plugs used?

 

5. IU inside right hand compartment?

 

6. Recommended tire pressure? follow the book?

I placed the volt at the left side, digital ones, for tires pressure use the follow the manual or the tires side wall...

im thinking of going for dual headlight conversion. i.e, at low beam, both the "eyes" light up....

 

but then, means, my hi-beam wouldnt be obvious, as only the h4 can light up...

i've asked the sales person at motoworld, she said confirmed will be street legal... :) i've seen a blackmax sometime back with this exhaust,which in turn made me buy the Tmax..

 

Polini catalog for 2010 have many performance parts for the Max, can check with Future with that.

 

I'm currently searching for the right piece of exhaust, cos i'm gonna keep this piece of machine... Very awesome in many ways... :)

bros, our Tmax the trip meter issit in miles or km??? my oil light came when the mileage is only 600... all the while i thought it is in kms, so anyone to confirm this?

 

 

btw,i've just change the stock coolant to Engine Ice...works very well and the temp remains very low despite multiple stops at the traffic lights. Recommended..

Hey, does everyone use the recommended CR7E NGK sparkplugs?

 

Or do you use the cooler CR8E instead for the hot SG weather?

I've never used a 7 rating plugs (22 for Denso) before in all my bikes.

 

Also, anyone knows where to buy NGK CR8EIX (Iridium plugs)?
