isnt it just great when sum1 put so much effort to a design and some1 else just take it and use it ?

 

 

tat's part and parcel of life either they stole it or borrowed the idea, one way or another.

Designs, are stolen sometime... but we simply cant put a patent to every design that we created...even if we did, some bikeshop will just use the same design to market it..

 

its a pity. but seriously the design is nice.

what's the big deal anyway...haha you can even get charged for copyright if ripcurl really wants to pursue. even if someone else copied the same design of my bike.. i wouldn't mind cos i know my ideas are being brought down from motogp.

i've been riding a runner 07 for quite some time now, and looking to do some stuff to my bike. hehe. but sorry la still quite noob. =) i'm still quite confused by the functions of some parts on the runner.

 

can i ask, what are the functions of the multivar, rollers and variator? i know all these is something to do with transmission, but can i seek some kind help as i plan to improve my transmission.

stock is called a variator....malossi calls the same thing multivar while polini is speed control. rollers are placed in the variator. lighter rollers for better pick-up while heavier ones are for top-end. these are the basics. juz ask ard if you need more infos.
