Reviews say the new 2013 Burgman 650 isn't as engaging to ride as the old model, although it's still as comfortable as ever. They're disappointed as the only good thing is the addition of a bit more electronic gadgets.

I hope Yamaha don't take 10 years to replace the Majesty as well. Haha. And what's the difference between the 2013 Burgman 400 and the 2011/12 model? I can't tell the difference except the headlight housings are tinted with a blue hue.

What are Suzuki and Yamaha doing man with their maxi-scooters.....

Visited Guan Hoe to view the 650 today after receiving their call. Only 1 here for the LTA homologation. It's in a unique gray MATT paintwork. 2 white n 1 more gray ETA min 6 weeks. All are executive model.

Under seat storage can take my Nolan n104 n close with ease, both forward n aft position. whereas in my SWT, only in forward position n needs some forcing to latch. Front 2 gloves compartments fits my fist all the way in. All compartments are rectangular n boxy, much like the older burgman 400.

Off the side stand, bike feels balanced, Low cg, feels like phantom or shadow, doesn't feels like 27+kg at all. Able to stand (me 176cm) w/o strangling the seat. Main stand never try, bike not powered up also. But Generally has the Suzuki Maxi feel.

generally, clean looking. Most bolts hidden or replaced with clips, from ride position, only screws I see are the reservoir covers'.levers'are blocked by the reservoirs.

Good first impression, now waiting to see how the white looks physical. Tempting coz specs are excellent, not too sensors based, CC ideal for local N overseas, final drive on reduction gears (not belt or chain), price competitive (20.1k cash w/o coe, ins). Only cons are the oil loss problem (maybe) n weight.

Previous 650 model has a bigger boot space if i am not mistaken. wonder ???

New styling slicker that's why space reduced by 6L. Previous design dated back to 2003 lol. Wheelbase also shorten by 5mm among other updates. Online brochure: http://issuu.com/globalsuzuki_motorcycle/docs/2013_burgman650

Which are the recommended shops to get first/second hand man Burgmans? Prefer 650 model.

Tks in advance.

Not many old Burg 650 in the market for sale. saw a year ago very badly used one at a shop near Changi Road. sold mine 2 years ago. Noticed a man near my place has a very well used burg FBA. hope you get one. if not for the heavy weight, i would surely kept mine. great scoot. YOU have to go around many shops to look for one or keep looking at the SBF forum.

I know which Changi Shop you referring to. If its the same bike you're referring to, yes it's still there as I saw it last month. Badly crashed. No doubt its heavy on standstill but I believe it's gonna be a real good maxi scoot considering its specs and the price.

For new bikes, I think the few shops mentioned earlier are the ones you can go to. However for used one, you may have to search a lot harder, didn't see much on the road either.

Nope Benz. the badly crashed one that I saw was at ASP. that was 2 years ago. another one was at a shop at next to Mak's place. well used BUT not crashed. i had at least seen 4 crashed burg650.
