Just did my 10k service at Guan Hoe past few days. They use special tools to open the belt protector cover. Their service more professional than a bike shop at Kallang. At Kallang, they dunno how to take out the cover just simply knock and cut the original cable tie(it can pull) without your permission. 1 of the crew said, "Boss we can't open it, something break or spoiled, we will not responsibility." When i heard, feel angry and i told them fix back everything and will go to Guan Hoe service.

COMMENT: PLEASE BEWARE WHEN SERVICE YOUR BURGMAN AT KALLANG.

perhaps u can try Ah Choong Motor. who is located at 10 kaki bukit rd 2, level 2 2nd last shop. Ah Choong is a guy who definately wont disappoint u.

kallang shops are mainly specialise only on gilera and vespa.

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

One at Changi Road. Original colour silver but appearance not so great. its the shop NOT ASPhoon but the other side along the same road. cant remember the name. Engine doesnt sound as good as my old Burg650. so sad. if it wasnt so heavy, I would surely keep her.

Burg 650 fully fuel loaded is at 270kg. if you are old and short like me 167m, then maybe not suitable if you decide to go work and jam all the time. but for that burst to kl or up north, its a great, great , great machine. i totally recommend it. many burg 650 riders use it just for that. heavy and stable. currently, 7 or 8 years old burg cost 4 to 5k. resale value is so poor. many people think its not good so dont dare to try.

Haha. So till date, not Burgey 400 K6 (MFG YR2006) onwards aye??

The Burgey is a rare sight here in Singapore lah. Haha. So naturally, even fewer on the 2nd hand market.

Just wondering if anyone has this problem where the bike suddenly becomes jerky and the speedometer occasionally goes haywire for a sec before working properly again? I'm guessing its the belt but I'm new to scooters so I can't be sure.

Call GuanHoe workshop 65096328.

It is the official repair shop for suzuki bikes.

So have you settled this problem?

I'd guess it's the fuel pump problem?? Fuel pump issues are surprisingly common for scooters.

From Kymco, to Yamaha to Suzuki.... Haha.

Anyways, how's your Burgy 400??

check you battery connecting screws. happened to mine once. screws was loose due to vibrations causing meter resetting, intermitten engine cranking and cutting off.
