speeding cam need help

this is the speeding camera at ecp near fort road there and the speed limit there is 90km/hr...i jus wanna noe at wat speed will the speeding camera will be activated?im very curious cause i was riding ma bike(sp) at 100++(never reach 110km/hr)...at dat time i was day dreaming and i didnt realise it....can anyone enlighten me???thanks 4 ur time guys/gerls....

Aiya.. don worry bro. The speeding cam flash is better then the day. If you kena flash, u sure knw 1.

 

I always travel around the same speed as you.. nv happen leh.

i really don noe if theres a flash or not cause its at 1430hrs and it was a very sunny day...and that time i was at the most left lane......

motorcycles top speed is lagging by about 10 - 15.. so maybe u ride 100 but actually its 90.. and lets sae u 105.. maybe 95.. they wanna summon u aso u can sae u just came back from down slope..

Hey, can anyone enlighten me on this issue......

 

.....i was riding along AYE on tues nite ard 8plus, on the 1st lane....ard 140....far away got a few cars on the 2nd and 3rd lane....blocking my view of the rd shoulder.....when i realised there's a mobile TP parked there,i dropped speed think to ard 120....saw this officer in dark uniform holding something in his hand....facing diagonally at the traffic......when i pass him, he didnt turn at all, standing at the same position......those mobile TP car with orange white paintwork de....

 

.......is he holding a speed camera or a radar gun???.....there's no tripod stand ard....if i speed, he will chase me anot??? else m i safe???.......im feeling damn uneasy...cus i only haf 9pts left......if kana, will i be suspended or revoked???riding RVF....is my speed accurate???

 

Please advise......need some reassurance.....thks dudes.

For ur case if u r riding a Y125Z? if Yes, ur Speedow of 110km/hr is something like 80km/hr to 95km/hr to Car, so don worry too much.

 

jimtan320, u ride RVf so ur Speed is much more accurate then his, they wont give chase if they holding a Radar Gun cause Pic already taken.

 

Just wait for any letter send to u or not

that is a radar gun..capable of capturing the speed of an object which they aim at...

 

why should he chase you? he already got evidence! chase you for what?? waste his time & effort...

 

pray hard that he didnt got you or saw your license plate...

for 2b bikes shouldbe safe bah.. but the rvf guy.. i am worried for him.. a calss 2a bike showing 90 equals to a 2b 110.. it was tested by a super 4 and a tzm.. so wen the rvf riding about 140, could mean he was riding about 160 2b speed.. so he ws way too obvious he was speeding..

How true is that????......the customer officer told me de....but my friends say if kana,both 2a and 2b revoke.......

from what i know.. for your case is

2b - 24 points

2a - 12 points (probation)

 

if u kena anything... say speeding.. minus 4points... it will become

 

2b - 20 points

2a - 8 points

 

and then now... u kena again.... beat red light... 12 points

 

2b - 8 points

2a - -4points

 

which means ur 2a gone, but ur 2b still around

erm.. juz now i was speeding on aye.. from jurong there goin home(clementi).. will kana speed cam anot? i usually ride below 100 de.. cuz scared caught speeding.. but juz now went 135..

Actually there is a probation after getting your 2A and 2. So if you actually chiong your bike license year after year, your on 12 points for 3 full years.

 

That's according to what I learnt in my 2A Theory lesson (Which was forced to go by CDC).
