recently done top overhaul... once reach 90 no matter how i throttle most go up to 100 only... i think is tuning... i also dunno...

Bro, u got run in properly or u chiong all the way?

Proper run in is 80km/hr for first 1000km,

second 1000km, occasional 90km/hr

third 1000km, then can anyhow whack.

Did u whack during running in? will spoilt the piston de leh!!

first 1kkm really damn long on 80km/h.

now i only reaching 200km.. and sometimes nv monitor properly will pass 80km/h abit.. haha

but i think speed is not what spoils your piston la, more like going at high rpms..

Hmmm... Thinking of getting yoshi titan blue pipes 4 my x1-r too but f***ing expensive. I went to diz one bike shop asking abt yoshi pipes, but onie street legal 4 spark. Told me still waiting 4 legalization 4 x1-r in 2 weeks' time. They said yoshi pipes sound a bit louder den GPR. In terms of looks, i prefer yoshi titan blue den any GPR pipes. In term of performance, will GPR pipes deliver better performance den yoshi pipes? Any comments guys?

GPR or yoshi better? . And your personal reasons?

Hmmm one forumer shared with me that Yoshimura pipe are straight through, whereas GPR comes with sliencer. Not sure how much difference in the air flow. GPR header is enlarged, not sure of Yoshimura.

Weight wise I have no technical specifications, but schecter mention to me that titanium version of GPR very very light, which definitely a plus point.

Anyone has the chart? Where we can visualize the torque and HP with and without the pipe.

Hmmm... maybe u want to go to another shop to check your bike? It seems weird to cap at 90km/hr.

I've personally tried the yoshi, long and short GPR. Yoshi is still the best performance,2nd is the old GPR( better mid/top cos smaller header... weight yoshi is 2.5kg only compare to stock 5-6kg??

Posted

I have flip through some previous threads, some riders mention that GPR pipe works well in mid-range and above but suffer during initial pick up.

Hope this help.

is GPR lighter than Yoshimura?
