involve conrod only consider top overhaul ?

My bike got this fast tickling sound or should i say is like metal hitting metal sound when i reach ard 90km/h and will be soften as the speed increase. Is it normal or something happened to my bike? i just did overhaul ard a month only. :( My bike have big bore, hi cam, SP carb. and for the cdi my mech he say he never see that cdi before.

AnyBody Knows which reputable shop sells variety of rims for x-1r? Thanks alot in advance =) Thinking of changing to 8 legged sport rims with outer chrome.

 

Can call Lim Ah Boy shop to check. They have stock when I checked 3-4weeks back.

Hi, I'm at new X1-R rider. My bike shop advice me to do 1st running in service at 500km, but Hong Leong advice to do at 1000km. Anyone have any comments on this matter?

 

If it's a new bike better to change eo & filter at abt 300 - 500km. You would want to throw away the eo with all the metal bits floating around after the initial running in.

On top of dat use mineral eo.. Since u still running in and it's a new bike.

I did run in after overhaul for 1000km. My bore is 60mm.

Soft fast ticking is normal..

Metal grinding metal.. Not good..

Get it check..

 

Try cover ur exhaust and listen to ur engine..

Too loud is no good..

Get it check aight..

i had an Koso meter, when it's at gear 4 rpm 3000plus will be loud but when reach 4 will soften abit. My friend told me that it's normal, every bike will had noise at certain RPM, is that true?

Hi guys!! i'm looking at getting a 2nd hand x1-r, I haven never ride a cub in my life before, was riding a WR4 before this and now I need something small to get me to work, any recommended shops? I live in the east btw, hope can join you guys for meet ups after I get my bike! CHEERS!

Gear 4 rpm at 3000? Isn't it like underpower?
