As I posted earlier hel is going for cheap at HLC. Its till end of this month. :cool:

Air filter there's K&N for our bikes. Price last i checked was around $90 from UM. :shades:

Japan made tires, others is just part of maintenance servicing. :shades:

 

 

 

Go to Ah Gua Lane in JB, at the first row of shops look for a shop that has a big Castrol signage outside the shop. Mainly runned by 2 chinese brothers, totally a normal bike shop. :thumb:

Its good because they are just a normal shop that not alot of people go to. So IMO in terms of service and servicing, they don't cheat people and they are honest, you dont get honest mechanics easily these days be it in SG or JB. :shades:

Will you guys bring in the DUNLOP TT900 GP ? Its made in Japan.

We have Dunlop TT900GP however it is not on offer list.

 

We recommend Bridgestone BT39 instead.

 

And what is its price?

 

$88 each.

After further enquiries, looks like they have it, its way overpriced, last my friend got his pair was $180 from Hua Chin mid last year. Well, it is to me a better performing tyre than the Bstones anyway. :shades:

like to ask how much to expect from a overhaul for sparks135?

 

as its my first bike reached 30k+km already...

Bro.... u never cover still ok... I wash my bike and canvas... this morning raining, so i drove my wife to werk... Sad bit, when i came back from my meeting... They were washing the floor... Haiz, thats even worst... NB, i never wash bike... They dont want to wash the floor.... Heart Pain.....

Bro, i think you can make do with just a piston and ring change... That will include gaskets to be changed also.... If its vibrating terribly, den you must go overhaul... As that require a con rod bearings change.... Hope this helps bro...

ya con rod,as most bikeshops i went to suggest its the con rod,how much would i need to expect from a con rod change?

I heard some boys did their bike at JB @ 350 $sg

In singapore, i will reckon its about 400 that range.... Always ask price first before agreeing... Ask what will be change? Local or original parts?

Normal for overhaul will be, piston + ring,rod + bearing.... Gaskets and all... So while its out, ask them to check for the oil seal condition.... Oil seal will be a few bucks worth, but good to do if its overhaul.... My pricing could be wrong also... so choose wisely k...

Yeah i saw the GSS for tires, TT901 better than BT39 and TT900? The only reason i could think why is because they have lesser grooving and maybe same compound like the bt39's? Nevermind, keep the answers for the outing, at least got topic to talk about. :thumb:

Settle for GPR brake hoses (steel braided i ok liao..lol)

was given a cheap quote of $35...lol

 

juz install gazi shock...

much better than stock but still...............

o well pay for what u get...

 

tml will be getting the sparkie....

will be changing all the bolts, nuts, screws & washers (on fairings) to stainless steel...

i'm a sucker for them & ther are relatively cheap...lol

 

Still like riding cubs after so many years!!!

the axle so nice . i tried motovation axle sliders but will hit the side of the pipe wen the shock move down . gonna take my chance to try others .hehe.:)
