Well, can't really argue with work. Best part is now my off days are sat's & sun's. No more hanging out late on outings anymore.

 

i dont know postponed or not . but me & akulahajak wit one of his friend going riding this coming friday. meet up as usual i guez at maks place.. long time no riding.. hw abt u ? :)

fuel tank size is 4 litre and base on my run-in record, with spooky stock rims, the FC is around 60km/L. i'm pumping esso 8000 petrol.

mind is ard 46km/l .....

juz for extra info, new spark comes with either:

1. stock rims with electric start or

2. sports rims w/o electric start

i got mine clutchless with option 1, then go msia buy sports rims myself & come bck sg buy tyres.

 

@ sparkz83: mine drop too due to the sports rims but i haven monitor the milleage cos i always 4get to record the meter when i pump. :p

That reminded me of an episode on Top Gear! Koeniggggggggsigggggggggggg. You can never have too much g! :lol:

 

or where to modify brake pump in order to use s4 levers?
Is it even worth modifying your pump just to use these levers? Should either get new pump or different levers. :cool:

First thing first....what have you done for your bike that you need such a good carb... If you tell me nothing... Den an sp carb is more den enuff...

If your budget is very big, den get the yoshimura fcr... The price is enuff to get a 2nd hand spark

it's got a big bore kit on it currently,

and i believe the exhaust pipe is not stock, modded in some way im not sure how.

 

i cant contact the seller now because of some reason.

 

im running an SP carb now, however, just wondering if increase in performance is worth the 500bucks.

 

i have a budget but it's not that high. besides, i didnt know there was a FCR carb.

my main purpose is not to squeeze top end performance. i aim to get a more responsive low-mid range & hopefully better fuel efficiency(MJN thingy).

 

im riding a sonic btw, sorry to post here but i feel that i could get more comments here as its more active : )

hope you guys dont mind. my main purpose is to learn and share just like everyone else..

 

another question, where can i tune/service my carb if i would not get this carb? or get the jettings suitable for this SP carb so i can trial-n-error/DIY/experiment on carb tuning. another reason why i wanted to get this is because the kit comes with the jettings to play around with.
