If that's the case bro... You sure have a fast bike... Rather then spend that money on that carb... My suggestions to you will be... Get a hi cam, if that is available for your bike... Big bore your sp carb... Den set your jetting and sprockets to your desire... Hope this bits help...

 

it's got a big bore kit on it currently,

and i believe the exhaust pipe is not stock, modded in some way im not sure how.

 

i cant contact the seller now because of some reason.

 

im running an SP carb now, however, just wondering if increase in performance is worth the 500bucks.

 

i have a budget but it's not that high. besides, i didnt know there was a FCR carb.

my main purpose is not to squeeze top end performance. i aim to get a more responsive low-mid range & hopefully better fuel efficiency(MJN thingy).

 

im riding a sonic btw, sorry to post here but i feel that i could get more comments here as its more active : )

another question, where can i tune/service my carb if i would not get this carb? or get the jettings suitable for this SP carb so i can trial-n-error/DIY/experiment on carb tuning. another reason why i wanted to get this is because the kit comes with the jettings to play around with.

No prob bro... I have heard of people big bore their sp carb to 30mm... How is your top end??? If it is quite impossible to finish your last gear... Try changing your rear sprockets to more teeth... That should help in your low mid rpm... Gets you there faster... Hehehe... My fren have a track set up sonic... Hehehe... The question will always be... How good you want it to be, and how much you willing to spend... Hehehe...

If your budget is very big, den get the yoshimura fcr... The price is enuff to get a 2nd hand spark
