I guess most shop able to do it for u. If u stay north, u can try Wing Yap at AMK. Did there once. Can't recall how much they charge but should be around $15 i guess

Go to any industrial area that does welding. Get them to weld 2 nuts at the bottom of the mainstand. Problem solved.

That is an exorbitant amount for a simple job as that. Most industrial shops will charge you only 5 or less.
