cmon guys lets do some graffiti on the banner put daylight robbery... i think they oso got no choice ar.. alot of ppl complain complain complain.... all they do is complain.. nothing to complain oso make new topic or story to complain.. typical kayporeans

Guys, i met with a fall just now due to the slippery wet surface in a multi storey carpark. The fall doesn't look bad as i was near to stopping before i fell. But when i tried to kick start, it won't start. Kick start a lot of times but still to no avail. I had to resort to a push start before it actually starts up again. I took my bike a round or two around the carpark to see any obvious defects. After which i realised my engine was getting super hot, like never before. Any kind soul here knows the problem? Was thinking of seeking help here first so i would know what to change when i visit the bike shop. Thanks in advance! :)

Encountered that kind of situation before. Engine getting super hot? Hmm, try riding it for a few days and if everything's normal. Then no worries. My old spark fell countless times, even during an outing.

Its just a mind thing. Unless you have a temperature sensor which gives out these information. In any case check for any leakage. Even mechanics have to test ride and take a look at your bike to assess the damage what more us mere riders?. :cool:

First off... Which side did you fall on?? When ur engine hot, did you try touching your radiator... If your radiator not hot, den the coolant is not flowing... Don't even ride to the bike shop.. Alotof possibilities that could happen...

Thanks guys. Will let it run a few days to see any visible difference. Btw, is it normal to experience a case where your spark died off just suddenly and kick start would take a few times before it starts up again? I'm feeling abit uneasy riding my bike now seeing all these. Haha! :lol:

Any one noes how much does spark steering stem cost? The bar above the fork tubes tat connects to handlebar. Does it take long to fix? I had accident last yr then pressed it to align. My fork was ok but the steering stem crooked. Now after a yr liddat it's nt strong anymore. I went to hkl mech there change cone bearing 75sgd after a few days my steering stem loose again. When I brake can feel the shake. When I lift up front tyre n move e rim, the stem can move. Hkl mech told me if afta fix cone bearing no use, change stem. Wad say u guys bro?

 

I just changed that day at Unique. $120 for the fork stem...coz mine also gone...
